Who should McD have hired as head coach?

Anyone not named Igor Kokoskov.

So you would've been good with Lindsey Hunter?

Lindsey Hunter had 1 more win than Kokoskov in 15 less games, which is all you have to know about Igor's coaching skills.

Lindsey Hunter had STEVE FREAKING NASH AND AMARE STOUDEMIRE. Our team is not trotting out multiple all-nba dudes.

I'm not even a big Igor fan, but you can't be serious in even suggesting Hunter is or was ever better.

You kidding? Dell Demps is my new favorite GM. Rampantly trolling the Lakers. High petty scores across the board.

Del Demps did great. Rich Paul/Lebron, Anthony Davis and the Lakers were the losers.

No, he didn't. He had Michael Beasley and Wesley Johnson.

I do think his system was more complex on both sides of the ball than they ran in the past and guys took longer than probably expected to pick it up. Now this could prove to be a good thing in the long run as they were running **** that was easy for good teams to counter in the past.

What system? He has no system. Dude is a friggin moron. Aimlessly running dribble hand-offs 30 ft away from the basket is not a system. It's about as effective and aesthetically pleasing as Brandon Knight dribbling for 20 seconds and taking a long-2 pull up jumper.

Yeah, that's why he won eurocup with it when they were expected to be at best the 9th best team. That's why other coaches and players refer to him as an offensive tactician and genius, and veterans say he sets up some of the best plays they've seen out of timeouts.

He doesn't have a proper roster and half his "talent" was in college last year (except Melton who was sitting out completely after a year of college).

I won't be surprised if Sarver fires him though because he has hot takes and knee jerk reactions like this, or thinking Chriss will be a really good player, and we end up getting set back because of these decisions.

McD put that garbage roster together. Don't blame Kokoskov.

Can someone who knows the cap tell me:

1. The MAX NOP could have offered him with an extension?
2. The MAX extension a team that trades for him can offer him?
3. The MAX contract a team that signs him as an URFA can offer him?

I want to see how much money he gave up by not re-signing with the pelicans.

Amazing that Lebron and Rich Paul were able to get him to trash his image, piss off the fans, and get him to give up.... $80 million ???? (I'm guessing)(Hoping someone can confirm)

How much money in endorsements will he need in a big market to make up for that difference?

Yeah it's similar to the offense that Utah and some other teams run. It's dependant on movement of the ball and players and identifying when the d makes a mistake and you get a good look. But when you have rookie PGs and turnover prone guys like Jackson and booker they often made the mistake before the other team did. Being a poor 3pt shooting team certainly hurt too. Defensively as weird as it sounds they missed Len because he's a hell of a lot better interior defender than the current version of Ayton.

And of course he also had Dragic, Gortat, Scola, Dudley (when he was a lot better) and Tucker. Markieff too.. Funny thing is he gave Igor the clipboard anyway much of that season after Gentry was fired. Actually says more about our players and the roster deficiencies than Igor. You can't run an NBA team without a decent PG, especially if half your roster are rookies.

My teeth aren't even bad and my dentist tries guilting me into braces or invisalign every time I come in for a visit. AD's dentist must make him sign a waiver every time he leaves the office.
