Re: Buy Out Market Candidates
What is the purpose in buying out Kaminsky at this point? Just to free up a roster spot?

I wanted Kanter in 2011. I kinda thought Zach Randolph retired four years ago.

Buyout candidates go ring hunting or return to hometowns. Ain’t nobody choosing to play for the Hornets after s buyout.

we literally already have an open roster spot. we've had one all year.
only two things happen by buying out Frank:
1) We do Frank a solid by letting him go to a team that can use him.
2) MJ saves some pocket change because surely Frank is smart enough to forego some money in order to sign with another team that can give him minutes in a contract year.
Literally the only downside I see is if we suffer two injuries to our frontcourt, then we have nobody to give minutes to.

Or playing time.
Which we probably can't provide either because the deep end of our bench is remarkably good for a deep end of a bench.
So uhhhh we stuck

Markeiff would be my top target. He is better than Marvin. Would sign Lin, Tony can be the bench mentor and play every other game or something.

This team needs some toughness. Id sign Zach Randolph as an enforcer.

Agreed, don't feel like we have a shot at anyone.
Do we even have the ability to sign anyone giving our cap constraints?

Isn't Markieff out for most of the season with injury?

Lin loved playing here, so he could be an option. Not sure we will find enough minutes for everyone though

We should go after Lin if he gets bought out. Hes an upgrade over Parker/Graham and can have all of their minutes + some of Lambs 4th quarter minutes.

yeah **** it, I'd do it. graham can get minutes next year, and I'm a huge fan of Grahams.
