Lowry hasn't been a starting caliber player for the majority of the season. It is what it is. Bad playoff Lowry - that does some good thing and some terrible things - has creeped into the regular season more and more.

But if he can't shoot, then he needs to stop wasting possessions. He throws up a ton of missed 3s every game that result in wasted possessions.

We also need to get some 3pt shooters on the buyout market as Lowry was supposed to be our primary scoring thread from behind the arc this year.

You act like Kyle forgot how to shoot. He's been an above average to elite shooter for the past several years. You just don't forget how to shoot -- not even with age, because it carries with you.

If you know basketball like you say you do, then you'd know that shooting has a lot to do with rhythm and muscle memory. Shooting woes can most likely be attributed to health, NOT decline. Just look at all the 15+ year vets still in the league, guess what they all do well?

It's a shame we couldn't swap him with Conley. Our only hope is that he somehow finds the fountain of youth before the playoffs. Would anyone oppose resting him for the majority of the season in order to try and get him back to 100% (or as close to that as he can get to at this point)?

I don't think people realize this enough or ever have when it comes to Lowry and the playoffs. This isn't something you can brush off as oh well he does other things okay after all the years, how much more evidence do people need.
