so a three team trade was just reported that said the pistons got 2 second round picks that originally belonged to us. Can someone breakdown all the future picks we dont have so far?
so far I know we dont have our own second round picks in 2020 2021 and now 2023. do we have other teams in any of those years besides our own. I know the 2023 second we just got but any others?

This is a good page:

The next second we have is in 2023 and is Chicago's (2024 for actual Wiz pick). I think Ernie is allergic to draft picks so beware.

Yup, and that alone is a horrible indictiment on Grunfeld. The Wiz are likely going to be among the worst teams in the NBA for the period of time they've already traded away their 2nd round picks. Those picks have significant value and are the type of assets the Wiz need. It's really inexcusable.

Chicago's pick is top 36 protected, so there's a good chance we won't get any compensation out of that deal at all.
Washington may not have a 2nd rounder until 2024.

Re: Wizards' picks tracker
2nd round picks are for losers. Our roster is so stacked we don’t have room for former picks Aaron White or Issuf Sanon. Plus if we find someone we like in 2nd round, surely our owner will buy a pick.

GM malpractice. Disgusting.
Here's the brightside.. we have all our 1st rounders. And perhaps in the future if we decide to trade down, we can get an early 2nd. Wouldn't trade down in this draft or in 2020 but perhaps in 2021 when the roster is better with a new GM.

Re: Wizards' picks tracker
The one positive thing he said was that he said not having 2nd rounders gives them the financial flexibility to buy 2nd rounders if they see someone they like. Hey, if they do buy one this draft, that'd be a step forward. But I'll believe it when I see it.
