Rolo and Dunn for Teodesic and Pat Bev. Maybe give them a 2nd rounder I dunno. Get Teodesic who has always wanted to play here. Let Pat Bev go or cut him. Sign a different vet PG in summer.

I'd change Beverly for some PF and send them Blakeney too.

Soooooo.....

Best Trade?

Who won or lost?

Raptors got a bigger/better Valancinus and were able to keep Siakam and Annouby.
They got better without sacrifcing anything good.

Bos just upset 3 of their best players dangling them in a summer trade.
Kyrie ain't sticking around for that nonsense.

WAS dumped a horrible contract on us

Gayle Benson for sure - didn't cave and just powned LA

The west punted, once they realized how good GSW are with Boggie in tow, nobody is beating them.

The East matchups wil determine how good of a contender they send.
If Philly/Tor/Bos>mil have to battle thru a couple of deep 7 game series - they will be spent and easy meat for Steph and Co.

Warriors do nothing, hold steady and win the trade deadline :banghead:

Houston made very solid moves in last 2months,adding Faried, Rivers, Shumpert.. if Harden can be at 80% what is doing now,Paul stays healthy, they can upset GSW for sure...
Paul, Harden, Tucker, Faried, Capela and bench of Gordon, Rivers, Shumpert, Green, D.House??, Clark, Hilario , they are a little bit thin at PF/C spots, they might add another veteran after buyouts period is over.

EAST will be very interesting ; Milwaukee got better with Mirotic , Toronto got better with M.Gasol, Sixers got T.Harris, Boston stayed the same and those 4 will have awesome battle for ECC! Somehow I feel Sixers are the worst here..

Otto Porter, Blakeney for Batum, W.Hernangomez, Hachimura

Otto Porter, Blakeney for Crabbe, Dudley, Hachimura
it's breathtaking how Jimmy Butler fans enjoy sniffing each other's butts.

Can we start a new off-season trade thread. This one has too much by way of painful memories.

I think he's just a little too old to match up with this team's window.

[As I was typing this, i realized I'm a few days older than him and I called him too old, triggering a full on existential crisis.]

Trade Zach for Jrue Holiday or Mike Conley. Pg's are just too important and rare. But NO and Memphis might like the idea of some younger blood.

If we miss on Zion or Ja, I'd trade down with NOP. Dunn + our pick for Jrue and their pick. This would be executed on July 1st.

I think if we miss out on Zion or Ja we should draft the BPA which will probably be a wing then trade Lavine + scraps for a Vet Point Guard.

No to Conley. Terrible contract. Not a bad as Wall, but terrible none the less. $32.5 Million next year, then $34.5 the year after. No thanks. And he's 31.

given how many good (if not great) PG's out there, its a bit of a surprise that we can't snag someones quality backup somehow, instead of the arci/shaq experiments which have been just painful.

With the way this roster is shaping out, we'll have 3 guys who are career shooters of 35%+ from behind the arc in the lineup in Lavine, Otto, and Lauri. There's no secret having a GOOD pass-first point guard would find these lethal shooters (Otto/Lauri) cleaner looks and take the ball away from Lavine who tends to become a black hole (not counting last night when Lavine assumed the PG role when Dunn got hurt).

I know we all know this, but it's time to move on from Dunn. Just upgrading for a real PG alone will improve Otto and Lauri's production. Before it comes down to his extension this summer, let's ship him off. If it means for a below average role player and a 2nd round pick, so be it. I'd be more than happy sending the remaining cap space on Dragic,Rubio, Collison, or even Rondo if he's down to come back.

Ja Morant would be a sweet pick in the draft after Zion, but I'm not banking on the Bulls getting a top 3 pick just yet.
