Jorge knows what LeBron is doing right now: Getting ready to "turn it up" for the playoff push. Plus, former Cleveland Cavs GM David Griffin came on to talk about LeBron back in the Lakers' lineup and gave his thoughts on the NBA Trade Deadline. Griffin also thinks the Clippers will get a "Max Player" in the Summer.

When Kyrie bolts from BOS for NYK or elsehwere, it'll knock em out of the AD sweepstakes. Demps will then be in hot ass water as the Lakers start lowballing him once it becomes clear Ainge is out.

With how badly Maginka and Rich Paul screwed up things with NOP... im confident the Logo can swoop in with a damn solid deal and Demps will be happy to grasp that lifeline and throw a middle finger at Maginka. Logo be styling on those clowns.

I really think a Kawhi + AD + 3rd star offseason is possible. The cap space is there, the trade pantry is stocked, and if the rookies SEGA, JRob, and Shamet can ball out their trade values will shoot up. Gallo i think might not have been traded so he could be used as salary ballast to go get AD and to help space the floor for the rookies so that theyre not overwhelmed.

I can totally see Mitch Kupchak, the Logo's boi, will be more than happy to help. CHA takes Gallo + Lou WIll, dump 2 of their **** expirings (Biyombo + MKG or MWilliams), and offer up their 2019 CHA FRP to help make the AD package just too damn good ot pass up. With the Clippers likely to keep their FRP, SAC looking playoff bound, and MEM tanking hard, the vaunted BOS pick package got kneecapped hard.

Short of a lotto winning team offering up Zion, i think the Clippers can offer up the best package for AD, while keeping a coupla cheap youngsters for depth (1 of SGA, JRobinson, Shamet + Zubac + Wallace or Thornwell), Harrell, and 3 stars.

The Logo is a goddamn wizard, if anyone can pull it off, its him.

3rd star = 3rd max deal?

Anything is possible but I hope people do not count their FA chickens before they hatch. In 2008 Knicks fans were saying Similar things surrounding Lebron, Bosh, etc. Signing 1 superstar FA will be a very big deal for the Clippers. Signing 2 would be crazy fortunate. Signing 3? You never know but how many have signed with the Clippers in their history?

I'm not really stressing about the offseason. Like, if you think about it, the worst-case scenario is that we have a bunch of young talent and picks to draft more. That's still a really good outcome! I think the most underrated aspect of the trade deadline is that now we're covered either way and it's not a disaster if we don't land the big names.

Thank you.

Can go after FAs.
Can draft.
Can use draft capital in trades (hopefully not for Geoff Green or to make Dudley go away).

Anything we do this offseason will be from a position of strength.

I still approach FA as if we are getting nobody.

I don't expect anything from anyone headed to FA.

Might be the best way to look at it in some respects since even adding one is no sure thing. I hope the team can add one but the right one. Not just any big name.I think AD and KD are the real huge guys that may be available. For some reason I'm not as big a KL fan as most people here. I would not even want Butler. If I was Jerry West I would really look hard at AD. I just feel he is the kind of big that only come around once every 10 years or so.

Me neither....

Missed an entire season.
Left SAS on unfavorable terms.
I still view him as an Elite #2 as opposed to a #1.

On top of it all, he could just say screw it and re-up in Toronto for the max.

Remember Paul George was supposed to be a Laker?
Paul George has a Hidden Hills, CA home. So we can already cut off the home ownership in Southern Cal thing for Kawhi. James Harden has an LA mansion btw. So does Russell Westbrook. These guys don't care about playing in LA as much as making sure that's their offseason spot and their forever home when they retire.

Until I hear a Kawhi to LAC rumor in July of 2019, ZZZZZZzzz

I'm not all-in on Kawhi either, since I think that if the Raptors make the Finals, or even Game 7 of the ECF, it's going to be tough for him to walk away from that. Especially coming off the PR debacle of how he left the Spurs.

On the other hand, I'm not buying all this Knicks talk for Durant. Is he really going to leave a dynasty to go play for a Dolan-owned team and the most adversarial local media in sports? If he decides he wants to start earning his rings for a change, I think we have a better chance of signing him than the national media seems to think we do.

If they both want to leave, I think the best thing for their image would be to join the same team together. Any outrage over Kawhi switching teams again would be cancelled out by the joy over Durant leaving the Warriors and opening the championship window for a bunch of teams.

Magic sucks so much as a front office person.

Just lol.
He has nothing to offer except, “this is LA. We win championships yo...we gon get FAs”....yeah...anybody can close their eyes, scream LA as loud as they can n hope the best players sign with them.

Feel kinda bad for LeGOAT but he made his own stupid ass bed and he can lie in it and rot for all I care.

If he's moving into a NEW office in NY, why is this news? Why is this presented without speculation?

Unbelievable how twitter keeps up the sensation in the most lame ways.

The thing is Thirty Five Ventures is originally from San Francisco (per Bloomberg), which happens to be where Durant's home team plays right now. Moving his startup company's office location to New York seems significant to me just like when LeBron and his media group moved their offices to Los Angeles just before he joined the Lakers. Not to mention LeBron being seen checking out local private schools before he settled down out West.

A lot of players are into investing and technology, so playing in Silicon Valley for the Warriors certainly held an appeal for the likes of Andre Iguodala and, apparently, also Kevin Durant. I was already under the impression that KD and Kyrie are both leaning towards New York, but I think Ballmer's technological savvy and business acumen along with Jerry West's counsel also hold appeal to him.
