The most important player for making this the worst Suns season ever? Sure, why not.

I've always liked but been frustrated by JJ. I was happy with the pick and just glad we didn't take Tatum (I thought he was what he was with limited potential, safe but never a big time star...maybe I was wrong, we'll see in 2 more years).
Josh needs to spend the off season getting some arc to his shot and learn how to finish with a soft touch. He also needs to get strong.
If he puts it all together, he reminds me of a young Philly Andre Iguodala - he had some similar knocks on him as JJ and a lot of the same strengths. Quick and athletic, but inconsistent shot. Great passer, but too often tried for the highlight instead of the right play. Wants to be a point forward, good vision but turnover prone. In your face defence.
Iggy really developed over his first 3 years but he also came in to the league at 21. I think that's Josh's absolute best case scenario ceiling. I remember the frustration fans had with Iggy as well.
I think in 2 years time Josh could be making that leap and we would be better with Booker as an off the ball scorer instead of point Book, flanked by Bridges as lock down defender.

From the very beginning I believed that Josh was going to be heart of this team. He plays hard all of the time and talks with his teammates when he is on the court. I believe that he is the key part of a transformation of the Suns team. Historically we have always been a run and gun team that plays little defense and runs up the score. I see the Suns starting to be come a team like the Sonics of 90s who are creating havoc all over the court by creating turnovers and steals. In other words a team that is better known for defense than offense.
Just say no to idiots!!

Are you assuming we find a PG ? It does not look like you can play all three together.
What ? Me Worry ?

Yeah I think we have to, rolling with no PG has not helped us this year. I think we need someone that can consistently find Ayton and feed the hot hand. Maybe JJ, Book and Bridges can't all start. Bridges doesn't look big enough to develop in to a stretch 4 type, despite his huge wingspan.
