2019 Off-Season Questions

Post#1 » by NYG » Sun Feb 10, 2019 10:10 pm

1. Who are your free agents and what percentage would you put on them re-signing?

2. What are your team needs and the overall short term goals of the team?

3. Is there any reason your coach may not be in place next year?

4. Who are you willing to trade?

Would Aaron Gordon, Jayson Tatum and 4 1sts (Grizzlies, Celtics, Kings and Clippers (possibly 2 seconds)) via 3-team trade beat any AD offer that is rumored?

Easily. I'd consider even throwing in Jrue to get that.

Sorry for the lackluster response. Other than trading Davis I have no idea what the Pelicans will do. It largely depends on what happens with the front office.

I imagine the Pelicans will move Moore to though. The rest I dont know.

If the Celtics got wind Kyrie was leaving and decided to keep Tatum, could any team beat the Lakers offer?

If the Nuggets offered Gary Harris, Michael Porter and 2 1sts for AD, is that better?

no, but the Knicks would have to walk away too. They have the 2nd most appealing offer.

Let’s say post-lottery that the Knicks ended up 3rd Overall?

Lance Thomas, Frank Ntilikina, Dennis Smith Jr., Kevin Knox, 3rd Overall and ‘21 1st for AD?

Edit: Could DSJ stay in NY?

3rd Overall
Lance Thomas ($1 Million Guaranteed)
DSJ
Knox
‘21 Mavs 1st
‘23 Mavs 1st (Top 10 Protected)

That gets it done?

eh thats in the good not great category. The bare minimum of what I'd want, but I wouldnt be too unhappy if that's what the Pelicans settle for. It could potentially beat an LA offer depending on where their pick ends up and how many future picks they add to zo, kuz, ingram just because it's a better rebuilding direction.

Adding a future knicks first or Robinson makes it very nice for NO. But I'm not sure it's necessary at the end of the day if Boston is out of it. offseason cant come soon enough.

AD, Ilyasova and Snell to LAL

TPE to MIL

If Celtics/Knicks back out

Both top 10 picks this year from Atlanta ( assuming 5 and 8), Bazemore, T Prince, Len, Spellman for AD

No way.

We would love to have Jrue but Oladipo, Turner and Sabonis are off the table.

Anyone else, including draft picks would be on the table though. I'd be interested in hearing what it would take.

If you're taking your only real assets off the table no Jrue.

Thanks. I was just checking.

We still have draft picks and could throw in McDermott. :D

Not a chance then. Pacers probably need to pick between Turner and Sabonis going forward. I would think Sabonis and a 1st would be the minimum.
