(and lol at Casey's Yoda impression there with that quote)

I wouldn't read too much into that. I thought SJ almost always played with energy and defense and didn't really have any personal conflicts with Casey. The dude just doesn't have any touch on his jumpshot or around the rim. That is why he sucks.

The "it's not about himself" could certainly be a shot at Stanley. SJ's highly inflated ego had him writing a lot of checks his "talent" couldn't cash.

I don't think Casey is taking pot shots at SJ.

I would like to note again Blake is having such an amazing season that is hardly raises eyebrows when he has a game like this. He just put up 31/9/9 and we've got more comments about thon maker than we do about that.

"Also his spirit in the right place and he is about winning." Stanley had checked out a bit here and was ready to move on so I'm sure he was not as happy and hyped around here. Also interesting Thon "is about winning" when he asked to be traded from the team that is first place in the East. I bet Pellies coach loves Stanley's attitude and drive right now as well.

Bruce Brown starts because of his defense and because he knows his limitations. Prior to last night he took 15 shots total over last five games. He accepts his role as defensive 5th option - Johnson could and would never do that. I guess that could be the difference between a mid-second rounder 4 year college player and 8th overall one and done.

It will be interesting to see where Stanley plays next season - Did Pellies trade for him because they want him or was he an expiring contract throw in with the 4 SRP's the value cost for Mirotic?

Even on pick and rolls, his man could get all the way around the pick and still beat RJ to the spot. Now, he's getting pretty consistent separation off a pick. That was obviously prime reggies go to play, so getting that going again seems to have lifted his confidence.
This ×1000. Dude hadn't been able to take even centers off the dribble the last 2 and a half years. Now he's beating good defenders.

On the telecast a few games ago...I think it was when Stefanski was on...They were saying how Kander said before the year it wasnt going to be until after Jan. when RJ would look healthy again. Looks like he was right.

I looked at this thread last night, then checked the box score since everyone was fawning over RJ and Dre's performance. I had to do a double take when I noticed Blake almost had a 31 pt triple-double. We're so spoiled by him.

Worst mistake SVG did was to replace Arnie imo.
