Gonna guess April, but I'm in Chicago the first week of March for eight days so if they wanna release it on Friday I'd be down.

They tend to focus on things that are coming soon, rather than hype something up that's 6 months, 9 months, several years out.
I'm going to guess May. They said Spring 2019 originally, so I'm hoping it's still in that time frame, but considering we haven't heard anything since the initial trailer I'll err toward the end of spring.

I have a reasonable number of games left to play that I actively want to be playing - AC Odyssey (though I fear the window for this one has passed), Octopath, PoE2, and Civ 6 - but I will drop everything for Fire Emblem.

Anyone have a really comfortable office chair that's good for posture/back pain? Recently been having terrible back pain as I spend a pretty good amount of my time working/gaming in my office. The one I have now is most definitely the culprit.

Borderline annoyingly customizable, especially for the price. Love this thing.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Will sound like crazy talk, but maybe a standing desk. Just if you do that make sure to get a good floor mat to pad your feet.

Recently I’ve gotten very much hooked on Myplayer in nba 2k19. I just started so my guy wasn’t very good, I said I’d never purchase VC and here I am 75k vc later. Kind of silly now in hindsight but I’m having a good time. It’s just for $17 I could have bought a full game of some sorts.
Still very much enjoying AC Odyssey too.

2K, Rainbow 6 Siege, and maybe GTA are the only games I've really spent any money on in terms of virtual currency, and I'm pretty sure I've spent like 10 times more on 2K than the other two combined. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have done it, but I've gotten so many enjoyable hours out of 2K's Pro-Am modes in the past (though the pure shooters have become absolutely ridiculous the past couple years and it's begun to test my loyalty).

I'll probably just stick to the nba season games for however long I play. I can't see myself Sticking to it very long tbh. We shall see though.
Do you play the WWE Series? I see the newest one is on a decent sale, not sure if it’s any good however. Used to enjoy the series as a kid playing with buddies. Now with children seems it could be a fun couch play.

I haven't spent any money on VC for console games but I've probably spent something like $400 on VC for mobile games in the last 5 years.

I've only played one of the WWE games, like 2K16 maybe. It was a fun break from my other games but I'm not a wrestling fan so it didn't hold my interest all that long. I picked it up when it was on sale for like $10-15 so I'd say it worked out, but if I go with a realistic fighting game, I prefer UFC.

You don’t even want to know what I’ve spent on gacha games

I refuse to spend money on gacha, and damn near at all. It's why I stopped playing FE mobile, actually. I could only realistically do so much without spending money...or grinding literally forever.

So while I'm waiting for my motherboard to be repaired and returned by Gigabyte, I decided to boot up the ole' PS4 to play Apex Legends yesterday with my brother. We are both pretty much hooked on the game. We played pretty much all day yesterday with the terrible weather, no regrets.
Managed 5 or 6 wins.

I've never been one to buy loot boxes - it's **** annoying when you spend real money on one only to discover that the loot box wasn't worth the cost. I buy currency because I know what I'm getting. Most of that money was spend on Boom Beach - I probably dropped $300 into that game alone. I've spent about $50 on Boxing Star and a few bucks here and there on a few other games. My personal justification was always that I played those games every day for months/years (I'm still playing Boom Beach 3+ years running and have been playing Boxing Star for about 4 months now), but really, $400 waaaaaaaaaaay much more than I can justify.
I've toned it down quite a bit - I don't spend any money on Boom Beach anymore and I try to limit my current mobile gaming to $5-$10 a month at most. But Google Play is dangerous. Push button purchases. Oof.

I've only played one match last Friday but I'm gonna try and put some time in this weekend when I'll have the place to myself for three days. It's gonna be wonderful.

VC and micro-transactions in general have been far and away the biggest factor in why I don't play much video games anymore, and when I do, I'm usually gravitating back to older games, or just waiting for newer games to drop in price. So yeah, I'm finally just getting around to playing Final Fantasy XIII....
