I agree that we have more urgent priorities elsewhere - notably at pass rusher, safety, and on the offensive line - but if Bell is available and doesn't preclude us from making improvements elsewhere in FA, then I'm all about bringing him in. He's so dynamic in both the run game and the passing game that he'd immediately make us that much more dangerous offensively.

Unless he comes at a MASSIVE discount that's pretty much an impossibility

The only way I take AB on this team with his salary is if Pittsburgh trades us a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Daniels and a 3rd for him and I might very well treat Gute worse then Rila did MM on this board for the next few yearszmanishere11 wrote:Alright Antonio Brown wants a trade.
If we cut Jimmy Graham and Nick Perry, adding him would only cost us about $4 mil this year.
No idea what kind of compensation PIT is looking for, but anything starting in the 3rd round and I'm personally interested. We have a ton of ammo in the draft this year - if we have to make some difficult decisions with players then this is the year to do it.
Wonder if Mike Daniels and a 3 would be enough?

If the Packers are 8-8 in this season, Matt LaFleur is a top 5 coach in the league, maybe even top 3. The Packers really have nothing to lose, the only way the Packers even possibly sniff a wild card spot this season is if they acquire a high impact player like Brown. Pair Brown with Adams and hope that Rodgers can return to form you could be back in the playoffs as soon as this season.
