Re: Trae Young
WT story above quotes Trae as saying he will be better than Doncic in 5-10 years.

He's already better than Huerter, so he must be close to as good as Doncic.

Both Trae and Doncic are looking good.
This reminds me of the Ray Allen and Marbury trade, early on it looked like a fair trade because both were all stars but towards the end one guy was able to pull away

Neither one of these guys is a Marbury type though. They both seem like really well adjusted team players.
DSJ is more the type, from recent draftees.

Trae Young is a beast. This is why I had Doncic 1 and him 2 in my mock draft. Guys that can dominate the ball are so freaking valuable in today's NBA. Doesn't matter the position. Only thing that separates them is size.

Why is it stupid? Puts Trae is some pretty impressive company if he can get his scoring up a smidge.

He is doing this in 6 to 8 less MPG than those guys as well. Considering his minutes are about to increase after the Lin move, he should be above these numbers

Didn't mean to And 1 your post. I don't see how this tweet is stupid at all? Am I missing something?

you're NOT MISSING ANYTHING. he has already made up his mind about Trae and will discount anything that challenges his premature conclusion.
It's called confirmation bias. Sadly, it's all too common in this place.

1) it's an arbitrary threshold
2) there is stat inflation in the NBA league wide now, so I'm not really sure what it even means
how many rookies would've posted 17/7 in this NBA vs. 2005 or 1995 or 1985?

Goofy post, if it was easy, it would have been done already of recent but it's rare. This Trae hate is lame. We get it, you weren't high on him, move on. Greatness doesn't need your approval

i don't care one way or the other re: Trae. I'm just letting you know what it is.
