Lebron James will leave the country for a brief vacation, sources told ESPN, before heading to Charlotte to play in his 15th straight All-Star Game, captaining Team LeBron against Team Giannis. “You got to decompress and get away from the game a little bit,” he said. “Those guys will have a lot more time than I will, obviously. I’ll be right back into it in two days. But just get fresh, get your minds right, get your bodies right. Come back with the notion that we’ll make the playoffs.”

lol at the thought of us running LBJ out of the country.

I wonder if this is a family trip?
Is he just heading to the Caribbean?
Did he even bother to fly back to LA with the team?
Didn't he just get like 3 weeks off while his groin healed?

More like he's going for some 'special' treatment - I wouldn't wanna speculate but it's one of those things that make you say......mmmmmmmmmmmm?

He’s a decent positional guy but effort and fundamentals on the ball are dreadful and team communication and help porous. He’s always pushed the primary wing defender label on to role players like Larry Hughes, Shane Battier, Iman Shumpert. Now Brandon Ingram, who really isn’t consistent at anything.

Lebron was good last night but it did look like he conceded that he is not the quickest guy on the floor anymore.

Trae just blew by him 4-5 times last night and it looked like Lebron gave up and knew he couldn't make a play on the quicker player. Lebron looked alot different then back in the day were he would have a hundred come from behind blocks in a season.

Rick Kamla needs a Fanta or sum'n so bad right now. Going IN on LeBron's semi-shade of Vince last night. Whew!
Please don't let Klutch Sportz get a hold of that audio.

Love watching our Hawks get a win in a game that draws heavy media attention. We've had too many bombs in those types of games over the years. This team goes through some rough spells (like in the 4th) but is a ton of fun to watch.

I'm proud of Hawks fans for not giving the visiting star the MVP chants we've done so often in years past:

LOL

Lebron looks like a sleepy baby.

That Vince comment wasn't the most PC. But, meh. Sounds like they aren't close and little love is lost between them.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this although I’m sure many noticed, Huerter on one play was absolutely making a fool of Ingram with the dribble all the way up the court and stepped back and launched a 3 that missed but it showed me a couple things..

He is getting super confident, and he doesn’t mind ruffling a few feathers out there.

Been hangin wit Trae I guess lol

Great game!

There's a fan section-sized group of us that the Hawks and Kia have made possible over the years. We've done our best to try and keep up a lively atmosphere at every game, and (this year in particular) to do some savage chants while opposing players are at the free throw line. It gives a bit more of a home court advantage for the Hawks when there wasn't one in the past (last night Lakers fans vastly outnumbered the home fans, for example).

It gives me a particular sense of pride when mainstream media picks up one of our chants here and there, and it makes Hawks fans as a whole look good imo.

I'd like to see more of it. One thing I love about Trae is he talks some smack
