And veteran x deserves 10000000 opportunities to play himself out of his “struggling” but young player doesn’t deserve any opportunity to make mistakes and learn to help himself or the team.

Add a splash of pretending you really know who “earns” (read: whoever Doc chooses is who you say earned it) minutes in practice and voila.

Hanky panky to miss is tanking...and generally the discussion we’ve had all year on this issue.
Ballmer will stand for it...like he did last year.

If you can't tell the difference between a former All-Defensive First Team guy who averaged 15 ppg who's under 30 and trying to come back from a season-ending injury, and a guy who didn't even accomplish that much in G-League...

well, I guess you can't. This is pointless.
