Me too, but then he lost me when Durant went to the Warriors and he spent the next few years putting a positive spin on his terrible product and punishing bad teams for rebuilding instead of working on the actual problems with the league. How he treated Hinkie and how he's handled the Davis situation are very NFL-esque.

Have Budz and the Bucks earned some of our respect yet?
Remember some laughing at them and Budz when they were 15-7.
My guess is those same people will play the “wait til the playoffs card”.

Re: Around the NBA II
The Bucks are the best team in the league, by far, until the Warriors start taking things seriously. It's gonna be interesting to watch them in the playoffs, as I think they have some exploitable weaknesses, but they are well coached and hide well where they're vulnerable, while making the best of their strengths. So far they're looking like a juggernaut and one of the best teams in recent years, and it's been like that since pretty much opening night.
I gotta say I did doubt the sustainability of what they were doing for the first month of the season or so, but they're here to stay, for sure.

Nate McMillan, and even Malone and Joerger should be lurking at some distance, but yeah, so far it should be Bud's.

Trae had a lot of doubters before he was traded for Doncic, which only magnified the criticisms. I'm glad that he's serving some crow.

Totally agree. Lot of people looked at his flaws, which are there but aren’t deal breakers. Thing is, he’s got the kind of pluses at a level where you could build a really good or great team around him.
What’s it going to be like in two years when he can shoot better and has a better feel for the pro game? You know, when he’s 22.
