Knicks worst record in the NBA, packs the house anyway.
That's what I hate most about Barclays. The atmosphere is so dark.
It's a nice arena but the feeling is so dull.
Maybe a change of color palette for the Nets could go a long way from just black/white. Maybe go back to their classic Red/White/Blue colorway. Brighten up the arena lights during games.
Come on, they used architects and designers way above your pay grade to choose black and white. Still, I agree with you 100%
The outside is just as odd.

What's with the brown, rotting metal look.

I dind't even notice that - it was dark out when I got there. That is really awful. Pre-rusted?

Even if he was, and he isn't, it looks like KD is bewildered.

Re: FA/Trade Rumors & Discussion - Durant, Kyrie, AD, etc (Pt. 2)
Why would Kyrie be selling KD on the idea of coming here if that's what they're discussing?
From everything that's been going on it seems like it's KD who seems like he's the one that's willing to come here for his business ventures off the court.

Exactly. I can’t imagine they’d discuss their future that publicly, but if that’s what Kyrie was saying, it doesn’t appear like KD is with it.

What's with the brown, rotting metal look.
They wanted it to blend in with the rest of the borough and its character

They should knock out a couple of windows in Yankee Stadium for the same reason.

The original concept for the arena was dope. Sad this was their consolation prize

Or the Mets for designing their new stadium after the BROOKLYN Dodgers...

Per https://www.architecturalrecord.com/articles/7549-barclays-center, it is pre-rusted!
The 675,000-square-foot building's facade is made up of 12,000 pre-weathered (intentionally rusted) steel panels that wind around the building like scales on a giant, but intriguing, reptile.
They go on to describe the interior as dreary, but say they like the outside. ugh.
There are many articles that describe how the original project was whittled down from its original cost to a mere $800 M, which was then inflated back up to $1 Billion. The criticism of the exterior runs the gamut. Although the architect who designed it was pleased with himself, many others weren't. Especially those who discovered that, during the early years, a good rainfall splashed orange rust below. What fun.

The NBA is turning into a daily sitcom. More is going on off the court then on the court.

I think a shiny metal look would've looked so much better.
Like you said in the night time it doesn't look noticeable and in the day light it just blends with the rest of the surroundings anyway.

Kyle Kuzma said he welcomes the scrutiny of playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.
"I wouldn’t want it any other way. I want people to talk about me, good or bad. Because if they’re not, you’re not doing something right. I’d rather be talked about bad in L.A. than play in Orlando and not get talked about," said Kuzma.
there it is. sorry orlando.
And that's why I don't consider the Nets a threat like media is trying to make us believe. Even when the Nets were making runs to the finals with Kidd and Martin, no one cared

Right. If anyone has been reading the tea leaves, Durant is the one that's supposedly coming.
I'm thinking that was not the convo.

Nets aren’t a threat to our free agency venture.
Clippers are. Because of Jerry West.

Re: FA/Trade Rumors & Discussion - Durant, Kyrie, AD, etc (Pt. 2)
1) I don’t think Bill Simmons would outright lie;
2) But I do think he’d love to cause a little chaos to affect free agency in favor of Boston while driving clicks;
3) If Dolan really were trying to sell, then it would make perfect sense to clear the decks of Porizingis + bad contracts to give the new owner a blank slate;
4) The price is so high that the new owner would not be “cheap,” so that wouldn’t affect FAs;
5) But uncertainty over ownership may scare some FAs.
In the end, if this story has any legs it’ll be corroborated in the coming days/weeks by real reporters.
