What is going with the Blue ?

Post#1 » by LLcoleJ » Wed Aug 8, 2007 12:56 am

Started off great but have been fallen and fast. Just dropped 5 straight!

Uur bullpen is a little beat up. ( I hate Schmidt)

We need some bats

We are old....

Well I guess thats answers my question....

But can we turn this around ?

Because I stopped making threads so they decided to lose.

Lets blame Tycobb for our mess. The guy is never around.

Of course we can blame Brett Tomko for everything...

This is almost embarrassing. Why is it every year we can hold a lead in the division after the allstar break? Very very frusterating.

BTW: Everything is Tomko's fault!

It's Tomko's fault! He brought that black plague when he signed with us. Damn you Ned!!! I really don't want to say it, but you can stick a fork in us. :(

Gosh, the bats are just not there (how unusual for the dodgers  ).

We're relying on a 22 and 23 year old to carry the lineup.

I'm not so sure if this can turn around either. We're sinking faster than we can swim.

Any chance that help could be on the way? (faking optimism)

We just won 2 in a row but we are still 6.5 back. Penny finally won his 14th and Lowe actually got a win in what seems like an eternity.

Brad Penny has been struggling which is no surprise, he starts out 12-1 every season before breaking down physically post all star. I was hoping that trend would stop this year but once again he proved me right.

I want to remain optimistic, but barring a complete meltdown by the Dbacks and Padres we won't be playing in October.

We are currently 6.5 back of the Dbacks even with a W on friday against COL. It was a nice win, Saito got his 32nd S of the season and Juan Pierre stole his 50th base of the season. The way AZ is playing, it looks like a wildcard spot is realistic at this point in time. AZ is on fire and doesnt look to be slowing down anytime soon although we still have 2 more series with them in september.

Things are looking up! Now if only Jason Schmidt would get back along with Randy Wolf and maybe we could sign David Wells
