Noel is going to regret turning down that Dallas offer IMHO. But it also means that he wants to be paid. I don't think you can get Noel and still pay both Howard and Batum. Also would Noel be any better than Cody at defending the really big guys like Drummond or Embiid?
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Yep. Love what Cody brings to the floor ... when he can bring it. He simply hasn't been durable enough. Team can't count on him.

Agreed. I think Noel found that out after the first month of the season when they benched him to show who’s boss. Cuban wasn’t going to allow him to audition or drive up his stock on his bill lol and that’s the sad unfortunate part about basketball being a business first as well as politics.

Because of this Noel will be able to be had relatively cheap or on a 1-year deal.

Noel would be able to defend guys like Drummond, Embiid, and Whiteside better than Cody because he’s longer in wingspan. Same with finishing around the rim over those guys.

Why is it "sad"? No one owes you anything. Noel was offered ~$70-$80m and he turned it down because he believed his body of work proved he was worth more than that. The Mavericks called him out on his bluff and were ultimately proven correct.

Try giving your employer a notice that you are leaving a year in advance and see how many opportunities they give you to advance your career on their dime lol!

Last night's game had timeout entertainment where Cody recited country lyrics and the rest of the guys had to guess whether it's a real song or something he made up.

My gut says trade Zeller. No way he lasts the season and we have no solid backup either. Go swing for the fences and get K Love.

Willy was fine as a backup last season. And hell no to trading for Kevin Love without keeping our good defensive center. Especially since matching salary would involve one of Marvin/MKG going out, which makes things even worse defensively. We'll turn into the Nuggets defensively if we trade for him

Those floaters are not encouraging. Are we sure Biyombo is the non offensive centre?

Thank God he's practicing that shot that I abhor he uses in games. Either get a jumpshot or go to the rim strong.

Great news, hopefully Borrego goes with a Cody/Biz rotation (doesn't matter what order) and it gives us a boost. I like Willy when he's got his offense going, but lately he has been hurting us.

Nice to see him finally get to double figure scoring averages. It was kind of embarrassing not to when getting consistent minutes as a starter that was a former top 5 pick.

He's looked totally different from the beginning of the season.

3-8. we were .500 when he came back.

it's not really his fault though, he's head and shoulders better than anyone else in our frontcourt, we've just played tougher teams
