Just goes to show that just because you're not in the NBA or you don't get minutes doesn't mean you can't play or be effective. Our own Briscoe and Birch prove that as well. They are players who had to play overseas, in D League or sit on the bench yet actually can contribute to an NBA team if given a chance. Who knows how many players out there are actually pretty good the NBA is ignoring/not giving a chance.

And this is why over the years a lot of us always whined about not playing the second round picks and other young guys...give them a chance you might be surprised. Iwundu is a good example as well. We wrote him off practically and it turns out he really isn't that bad.

Maybe, he really was bad until he worked very hard on his game the past few seasons to the point where he earned his current position.

My initial thought when I saw the thread was "Does he mean Tobias?"

I actually misread the thread title thinking it said Tobias.

Same with Oladipo. I don't think he would've developed into the star he is in Indy without seeing Westbrook put in work IN OKC.

The Trade was a salary dump when Harris was a borderline NBA player spending a lot of time in The G League.

Magic never acquired him to keep him.
