According to a source, there is a strong market for Thomas as a free agent.
Thomas, 29, is dealing with an injury that should require three to four months of recovery, but he should be ready for Week 1.
\"I can\'t imagine we\'re more than bargain shoppers here,\" a Cowboys source said.
