Only if Michael Jordan shows up with grey hair and a time machine. Like Doc from back to the future, but he takes lebron back to the ages of old, and the people of the time think he's just normal but he's actually Lebron, and starts dunking in 1931 when nobody was even touching the mesh, and then time gets screwed up because by the time the future happens, when you had guys in 1931, 4 foot guys dunking, because it was actually lebron travelling back in time, well thats changes things in the future, which is not good, there's animal beasts in the league, monsters, and lebron must travel back to the past to change the future!

It's Do The Right Thing and then everything else imo at least. Worth pointing out I left off The Little Mermaid, Turner and Hooch, Glory, Weekend at Bernie's, and seriously a bunch of other pretty good comedies.

I never saw Do the Right Thing, but in my defense I was born in 91. I grew up with hand-me-down everything from my brothers (85 and 87) so I felt like an 80s kid by proxy.

Do the Right thing and 25th Hour are imo two must see Spike Lee movies. I actually had to watch Do The Right Thing for a film class in college though, I already had the DVD. And if you were born in 91, you're old enough to checked it out!

All cute lists but look at 1989, what a way to end the 80s!

Do the Right Thing
Dead Poets Society
Road House
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Batman
When Harry Met Sally
Back to the Future Part II
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
Steel Magnolias
Field of Dreams
The Abyss
Major League
Ghostbusters II
Licence to Kill
Christmas Vacation
Driving Miss Daisy
Born on the Fourth of July
Lethal Weapon 2

I'm sorry but 1994 had a WAY better selection than that. 1999 was another strong year, maybe the best ever:

The Matrix
Fight Club
American Beauty
The Sixth Sense
Toy Story 2
Magnolia
The Green Mile
Office Space
The Insider
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Eyes Wide Shut
Man on the Moon
The Legend of 1900
October Sky
Election
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut
American Pie
The Iron Giant
Summer of Sam
The Straight Story
Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace
Dogma
The Blair Witch Project
Princess Mononoke
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me
The Mummy
Three Kings
Big Daddy
The Hurricane
Detroit Rock City
Tarzan
Run Away Bride
Varsity Blues
Blast From the Past
Any Given Sunday
Boys Don't Cry
Entrapment
Analyze This
Superstar
Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo
Bicentennial Man
Notting Hill
Bowfinger
10 Things I Hate About You
Idle Hands
Stuart Little
The Haunting
Lost & Found
Payback
Cruel Intentions
She's All That
Go
Never Been Kissed

Honestly feel like a lot of those are terrible movies, I certainly didn't list every movie from 89 and there's no list ever where I'd include Deuce Bigalow or Cruel Intentions or good god you listed Phantom Menace. That said at least in terms of great movies, it's hard to beat a list that had Fight Club on it.

Not even idiots would watch this, especially pay to watch this dumb crap. I didn't even watch the first one and I grew up in 90s.

It is 1000x better than Phantom Menace, lol. It also is still fun to watch while drinking beer with guy friends. Master piece it isn't, but it was darn good pop corn fun. I guess we can give Cruel Intentions a pass for that kiss, but that was a lot of crap just for one girl on girl moment.

Why is Lebron and his team so obsessed with remakes? They’re remaking this, House Party, and Lean on Me already. Like come up with something original.

The first one was fun....when I was 10 years old.

It REALLY doesn’t hold up after 20 plus years though. There are pieces of children’s media I watched in this stage of my life that hold up well. This really isn’t one of them. It’s bad.

Doubt I’ll have much interest in this.

You think someone born in 85 wasn't VERY aware of Batman or Ghostbusters????

80s kid = born in 80s, 90s kid = born in 90s

I’d disagree with this. I was born in 1986 and barely remember the 80s if I remember them at all. The majority of media and culture I consumed growing up was 90s media- not 80s. I definitely consider myself a 90s kid.

Sure, some late 80s stuff trickled in there, but it wasn’t my primary frame of cultural reference by a long shot.

All honesty, most people are the results of multiple decades. Saved by the Bell was a show that started in 89 so I guess we could call it 90's but that's not a fully accurate statement. Cheers went from 82-93 and it lead to Frasier which lasted till the 00's. GI Joes started in 85, beastmaster was 82 I think, TMNT went from 87-96 (I'd have never thought it went on that long), back to the future had 2 of the 3 movies in the 80's, and i can go on.

There's seriously no way that none of the above was part of your early childhood at least in the US. And I can seriously go on with shows that started in the 80's and influenced by the 80's and 90's. I'd mention fashion but frankly I didn't know then and don't know now what is 80's vs 90's fashion. Not something i noticed then or now. I also wasn't into music as a kid so again can't offer much there.

I would be surprised if most 8-12 year olds couldn't readily identify bugs bunny . . . maybe I am that old . . . but I knew who Mickey Mouse and Popeye were.
