Why is Jabari Parker getting minutes over Sam Dekker, who is a better NBA player?
Why is Wes Johnson getting minutes over Troy Brown, when his play sucks & he is not part of developing this team's future.
What is the matter with Ernie Grunfeld & Ted Leonsis? I mean... exactly how stupid can two guys be when, after all, they have somehow managed to rise to some kind of prominence? I just don't get it.
Stealth tank could be one reason. By playing those guys they can claim that they're legit making an effort to make the playoffs.
Of course that's giving those guys too much credit, this organization truly believes that Portis, Parker, Green and Wes Johnson are good players.

Starting Portis for no discernable reason is pretty good evidence of a stealth tank op in effect.
Either that or Brooks is trying to develop Bryant into a good shot blocker. The word is he started Portis for rim defense, I almost fell outta my chair when I heard that. Portis is about as good a rim protector as Jeff Green. Bryant came out with some monster blocks off the bench in response so who knows?

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

what really needs to happen is Portis/Bryant for the remaining games available to get a sense of if that combo can work moving forward

You know why.
When you buy a new car you park it outside of the club and show it off.
Yeah... & you don't tell everyone that it's been in the shop once a week since you picked it up & occasionally the steering wheel comes off in your hands!

I wouldn't say that at all.. The Indiana Cornfields are a try hard regular season team because they don't have the talent. They will fizzle out in the playoffs. Don't be fooled because the Cavs had to get chemistry together last year.
LOL, this sounds like some **** Ernie would say but never executed. Indy will make some noise in the playoffs.

Jabari Parker will continue to tantalize then dissapoint.
One possession, he does something that brings you out of your seat followed by two turnovers from playing out of control.
That was Beal, Bryant and a trail of rag tag characters on the floor last night.

Only if they stay as a 3rd seed. If they matchup against any of the legit contenders, they will absolutely lose.

Who is legit in the East
Milwaukee? its Giannis or nothing
Toronto got blown out on their own court tonight by the freakin Magic with "the no kawhi" BS excuse
Philly has talent with a subpar Coach
Boston if full of arrogant players outside of Kyrie.
Indy is like the Spurs East. They play hard, well coached and the ego is checked at the door. Don't sleep on them
The rest of the East is pure ****. But our dumbass GM and owner thinks otherwise.

Cmon on now the Cornfields aren’t built for the playoffs. Good regular season team though

Bingo.
When Leonsis sells the team or fires Grunfeld and hires competent management, it's possible I could care again.
Meanwhile, 3 point contest champ Joe Harris and the Nets just beat the Hornets in a key game on the road with a great performance by D'Angelo Russell and their group of steady role players. They are fun to watch and getting better every month.
Go Nets.

I started it the game before the all-star break. But I thought it would be bad mojo for the tank if I started consecutive game threads.
For this one, I did completely miss this game.

They had La Goat on the ropes last year. Silver and his boys said hell to the no. Just like the capitol of the state of California team is going to have a hard time getting past La Lakers this year.

22 turnovers, grade school defense. A new circle of hell to us for having to watch Brooks, Rivers, and Parker this season. At least Buckhantz gets paid, we get nothing. Unreal, wake up Ted. Please don’t go to the games, and if you must, bring your own refreshments.
