I love how anytime we get a big league we send Stauskas in so things don't get out of hand.

We now have Knight, Sauce, and Zizic on the floor at the same time lead is vanishing.

Sexton is having an awful game. If Morant is on the board, I'm taking him.

Disagree with that, from what I've seen anyway...of course I've only been watching the game off and on , more interested in Culver right now and other potential lottery picks than watching the cavs piss away the tank.
What is Sexton doing ?

He's playing like a poor man's Clarkson. He never looks to pass until he's trapped or doubled. He's not terribly good at anticipating the double either.

As far as the tank goes, they legitimately tried tonight but Love went off. The leads were too much for our garbage lineups to overcome.

Well, as much as he is playing off ball, they could justify drafting Morant regardless of if both are the size of a point guard and it would be an interesting back court albeit a small one.Otherwise I cannot see them taking Morant and giving up on Sexton continuing to put the work in, which to me is obvious despite the glaring issues that still need addressed.

Funny I thought it was one of Sexton's better if not his best performance to date:

- 20 & 5 & 6
- 4 for 6 on 3's
- nailed a 3pter off his own dribble
- dropped a clutch 3pter that sealed the game
- grabbed a big time rebound to also help win it

His playmaking has been a sore spot, but there are some signs of improvement in that area as well. If the Cavs do draft a PG it would be understandable, but spreading the playmaking around is a viable approach as well, and with Knight, Delly, Love, and Larry all healthy we have a chance to see how that would look.

He also had 4 turnovers that all but negated his 5 assists. I'm okay with 16 shots but he took a lot of bad ones in the second half where he dribbled into traffic and didn't have an out.

He's also a one and done rookie ... don't critique him like he's a finished product. There's going to be a lot of ugly in his game, the key is whether he's improving and showing upside.

Heck, Ja Morant could be in the league right now, but decided to stay another year at Murray St. Would he had gone ahead of Sexton? I kind of doubt it ... nbadraft.net had him ranked 25th out of all prospects last summer.
