Temple [+15] in for Shai
and Shamet [both minus-8]

perfect coaching

ADD: Temple on Doncic, who throws it away, game over

ADD 2: Does Gallo lose the ball with 1 minute left every game LOL

all year, there were combos that didn't work in the first half but they clicked in the second when Doc gave them another try
obviously he saw stuff he liked even if the scoreboard said otherwise

it's tough to have 2 rookies out there at once
especially who have played only 5 games together
no preseason
little practice

plus Zubac is no established veteran either

Shai was scoreless AGAIN
time to stop making excuses for him
he gets MORE PT than he earns

Doc IS looking to the future by starting those 3
but when winning time comes, all bets are off

enough about the kids

___________________________________________

Pat was the veteran glue
Temple had only 4 points but was plus+18 in 18 minutes
and Doc gave Ty minutes he earned too, 3 points but plus+18 in only 13 minutes

71 points from the bench tonight

and let's give props to Trezz
career-high 32 points

7th seed, baby
one HALF game behind the Jazz for 6th
who we play on Wednesday

What a pleasure it is to watch Harrell play this game of basketball. I don't care what anyone else thinks. The chance to watch him play is worth the Chris Paul trade alone in my opinion.

That's not to say I don't appreciate what Beverley and Lou are doing for this ball club lol

Big win tonight! Trezz might as well had been playing against toddlers. They couldn't do ANYTHING with him!

Since Tobias is gone its basically become a 3 man team so these contributions from Bev have been huge. People see Trezz and Lou on the bench and think depth but this team isn't deep when so many guys are playing B level games. Hope Wilson can help. Hope Shamet and SGA can raise their games. I think some guys are better than they have been showing.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

Wished we would've locked up Trez in a four year deal instead of two. He's starting to make that leap. Good games from Lou and Pat Bev. The rooks have hit the rookie wall hard especially SGA. They're not used to playing this many games. I think they'll bounce back by the end of the week.

We'll still have his bird rights if Ballmer is willing to pony up should we end up over the tax threshold.
