It's only gonna be one or the other. Cuz I think Atlanta got the 7th seed sewn. Pulled off a helluva trade acquiring Westbrook and Ingles.

Hoffa will be on the outside looking in. His players will be working on their golf swing while he will be a guest studio analyst where he will make good use of that mouth of his with his playoff commentary.

Next year they’ll all be expirings. I love the flexibility. Given this team a two year window to win a chip anyway. Plan to tweak a few things to improve defensively this offseason, but it’s all about these two years for me.

I know most Knicks fans hate his guts but picking up Mudiay has been tremendous for me. Won't see the value by simply looking at his overall yearly stats. But if there was a breakdown since he has been traded to me, you'd see he has been producing big time off my bench. I needed another PG who could give Sexton some rest and still be productive.

vs. Detroit last night (BaF SIM]:

• Mudiay — 11 PTS | 13 AST | 9 REB | 2-4 3PT

...one rebound away from a triple-double. Combined with his IRL production this year on the Knicks he'll see a nice boost in his SIM rating.

I don't hate him. I actually LIKE him IRL too! He's worked hard this year along with Vonleh and improved a TON.

Next year the SIM jump for Winslow and Mudiay will be like me acquiring two new players. Right now I don't even have Winslow in my regular rotation due to the SIM disrespect but I suspect next year he will be getting big minutes from me at 3 positions (PG/SF/PF) depending on how I configure the rest of my roster/rotation.

Things are pretty good in Utah right now, Jokic is practically coasting right now. Russell's play has really improved on this team, he probably got better as the year went on.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.

Mudiay's gonna be ok as a 6-7th type of guy. He has a place in the league. We have a few of those players though, and cheaper. Need a true lead guard. Dennis has some actual potential in that regard but not the consistency. Yet? Ever? We shall see.
