Don't have the link to the quote, but Rodi said he's skipping playing international this off season and will stay with the nets to work on his body.

This is excellent news.

Musa too talked about staying with the team and he promises to be a "beast" next season.

Both excellent news for their development.

Will Musa crack the rotation next year? At least he sounds like he’s trying.

alot will depend on what the roster looks like...

Levert, Dinwiddie, Harris are all under contract and will 100% be back.

Russell is 99% to be back, and if he is not its because kyrie or kemba is in, so either way thats 4 gaurd spots between them and the above three.

Crabbe might be back if they dont move him for cap.

Then we have max FA money, does kawhi come in? Tobias? Klay? some other forward? do we just bring back carroll/rhj/graham/napier/davis?

Then we have 3 draft picks in the top 31. i would think anyone drafted at #17 would be better/see minutes before musa did?

Musa could certainly carve out a roll, but the above will all be a major factor

Too soon to tell what Musa's role will be. The good thing is he has positional versatility. I think he'll be our offensive Swiss army knife next season.

He'll take Napier's spot next season at the G spots. But at 6'9 (and getting stronger), he likely can fill in for SG and SF.

Keep in mind that Carroll's minutes will potentially be available next season. I wish he returns but he's playing well enough to earn a nice contract. Unless we just strike out on a max guy, I can't see him being back unless he just really wants to give us a discount.

It's really the starting 4 and what we do with it (and Carroll) that dictates how this roster (and minutes shapes up).

We have a pretty good idea what our guard rotation will be: Russell/Spencer/Caris. These three guys will likely take 84 (at the minimum) of the total 96 guard minutes.

Joe will get likely 28 of the 48 SF minutes. Allen and Davis will take the C minutes.

That basically leaves minor minutes at G, 20 SF minutes, and the PF spots.

If Crabbe is back, I expect he will be the favorite for those SG/SF minutes, with Musa behind him for G/SF minutes.

I expect Rodi to bulk up for the 4, either as a starter or backup.

Unless Crabbe is gone, I don't see Musa breaking into the rotation unless he just surprises or we get bit by injury bug again (knock on wood).

But the year after, Crabbe will be gone and that's when I expect him to really crack the rotation and play regular minutes.
