Mr. ORNG

Post#1 » by oligo » Thu Feb 28, 2019 8:51 am

One question for those who are attending home games of the Phoenix Suns:

Is this guy (Mr. ORNG) still present at home games? I'm watching home games of PHX on TV. He was always sitting on the top-left corner (from a camera perspective of course), usually behind home team bench. I haven't seen him for a while now, maybe for a whole season.

He's still somewhat active on twitter and facebook. From one picture it looks like he has moved to a spot behind the visitors bench basket.

He posted here a while ago for a very brief period. I remember hearing something about him not being able to afford the same season tickets or something to that affect, and I believe some of his fans had setup a go fund me or something so he can still be a season ticket holder. I’m not sure if that made enough money or if he even took that offer but regardless he’s in a different spot in the arena. Would be nice to hear if he just decided he didn’t want to be a season ticket holder until we got a better product on the court.

Hey! I am still here! I did have to adjust my seat to the upper deck. I coach high school basketball here in the valley at my Alma mater so I do miss some games throughout the season.
I am on season 10 straight as Mr. ORNG and 15 as a season ticket holder. It is amazing to see the crowd getting back to what it used to be!

Dude! I was in Phoenix last season and went to 2 games (Pels loss and Bucks win) but couldn't find you there (I'm that guy from Charlotte who used to call into the radio show all the time).
Glad to hear you're still around :)
