I saw that and thought that would be one acquisition I would be all for the Bucks getting. Smith has had some good games against the Raptors, but he is so hard to control and his IQ can leave a lot to be desired. To think, Lebron struggled to keep this guy in check makes me think he would be a detriment to any team adding him.

Add to the fact he hasn't played in almost a year would make me think he is an injury waiting to happen at 33 years-old.

He'd be a sitting double double if he was on the Raptors.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Or sitting while drinking a double double.

I think it’s March 1st but let me know if you have better info,

“Several players have already been waived, allowing them to become free agents who can sign with any team. As long as they are waived before March 1, they are eligible to compete in the playoffs.

March 1st is tomorrow - are the raptors done roster tinkering? Does that mean Jodie will be signed for the year?

Hopefully not. I think we're still one roster spot short. However, I wouldn't mind having Meeks on the bench for the rest of the season. Though I hope they're looking at a long defender that can handle Giannis or an athletic guard that can cover any of their 3 pt shooters. I only worry about MIL matchups at this point as we're already pretty well matched up with 3 through 8.

Derek Cooke jr on the G league team has been a beast on the boards( mind you it’s the G league). He’s averaging like 15 rebounds a game for the past 6-7 games. With the way the buyout market hasn’t shaken out as expected, he might be our best option.
Do the Raps keep 15 players in case injuries happen?

Good find, but my feeling is that they stand pat unless something unusual happens like Anthony Tolliver or Frank Kaminsky get bought out. I don't think they have the time to integrate another new piece especially with the struggles they are having now.

If an injury happens or they want rest they can sign a G-League guy to fill up a spot and that can happen even after March 1. This deadline is more about guys who you plan on adding to your playoff roster, which would be highly improbable for a G-League to just take.

Out of this list I like Dedmon the most.

JR Smith experiment on a 10 day would be fun as well.

JR's contract is too valuable. 16 million +- and only 3 mil guaranteed. Therefore a team can dump salary with matching salary and not pay it. Really valuable this summer.

Hoping for a 4. Definitely don't want Melo though. He'll ruin any hope of chemistry being made on this team. We need someone who is OK with not playing unless it's an emergency.
