Pick n roll Calathes and Giannis is the worst idea ever.

Calathes needs to be parked at corner 3 when Giannis is the ball handler at top of the key.

On P&R
Giannis,Printezis checks OK
Giannis,Sloukas ckecks OK

Giannis with a non shooter is not working. We have seen it with the Bucks with MCW,Vasquez,Bled, whatever....
Draft picks: '15 Jerian Grant, '16 Thon Maker, '17 Isaiah Hartenstein/*John Collins, '18 TD Devonte Graham, Hamidou Diallo, '20 Sam Merrill, Killian Tillie, '21 Joe Wieskamp, '22 TU C.Braun/G.Procida '23 Tristan Vukcevic/Maxwell Lewis

Who are Greece's best shooters?... A top five and their positions would be cool.

Those five players, along with NC, need to play the most with Giannis.

PG/SG Sloukas and PF Printezis... everyone else is inconsistent. Calathes has improved due to having a leader role on his team. His confidence has grown and his shots fall more often.

Calathes is so good(NBA level good) at everything else outside shooting that it doesn't worth replace him with a non factor shooter near Giannis.
Fiba Basketball is different anyways. Giannis is so strong right now he can overpower 90% of the PFs/Cs he will face there so he won't have to ISO drive a lot. Calathes can easily play high quality PNR with him or make the proper pass to Giannis at the post something Brogdon/Bledsoe still struggle to do so. Giannis will get a lot of double team and with a good coach we will get the advantage of that because we may lack a lot of things as a NT but that's not the IQ of our players.

Last time Giannis played with the NT he wasn't even half the player he is now.

Not particularly referring to the guards. No bigs that can't nail threes at a high rate.

Sloukas (g) is very good shooter.
Calathes (g) is not so bad. Maybe above average as a spot up shooter (but I don't have the stats). No reason to do pull up 3s. Let this up to Sloukas
Papanikolaou (sf) is ok shooter for his position. Not a bad defender either.
Bourousis (c) is the european equivalent to Brook. 3's, box out and post ups.

These should be our starters. Prindezis at the Ersan role. Thanasis at the DDV energy bench role.

Hi,
do you known who will be Greece’s Head Coach at the next Fiba World Cup ?

Thanasis Skourtopoulos, really?

I would try with Rick Pitino who now coach Panathinaikos in Greece and who would do anything to redeem himself!!!

I wouldn't get your hopes up on Giannis actually playing
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Very disappointing that we haven't really added any significant piece since 2 years ago when I started this thread.
Cant still be counting on Printezis and Bourousis.

He played pretty well in their last win vs Khimki. Get with the times, Greece! Slovenia won Eurobasket thanks in no small part to the work of noted non Slovenian Anthony Randolph. Giannis should recruit Anthony Tolliver with gifts of the finest Moussaka.

I mean, you already have three Americans as cornerstones of the squad. Might as well add another.

Dorsey grandfather was Greek, Koufos parents too, its not the same man, its the same with Giannis, he could play for Nigeria if he wanted. Also a player can play if he like for the national team if he becomes Greek citizen but he must stay in Greece for 8 years i think. 8-)
