Yeah, I think I'm with y'all on that.

I'm actually happy to see Deadman seemingly wanting 'in' on our rebuild. He's a good stopgap type. Seems like a good vet to have.

I like Dedmon, just not sold on his fit with Collins on defense. But offensively, they do the job well as a pair.

True. Was focusing mainly on his fit from a personality perspective. We definitely need to add a defensive big to the mix. Actually we need that in our wangs too.

2 wings in this draft for me over any big. I wanna sign a free agent gap stop center or trade for one. The wings in this draft are too nice to reach on a big .. IN MY HUMBLE OPINION!!!

Good post to agree with my sentiments and also correct my on the STOPGAP GAPSTOP fiasco...

How about a neck and neck race to the ROY between Zion (our first pick) and our Dallas pick?

Hawks pick: Reddish, best fit
Mavs pick: Bol, highest upside
Trade Baze for additional 1st rd pick or absorb some salary for additional 1st to draft Doumbouya, 2nd highest upside

Sign DeMarcus Cousins as FA, best fit on this team. I think with Young, Collins and Reddish Cousins could think we can be really good.

Young/Backup PG
Huerter/Anderson/Bembry
Reddish/Prince/Doumbuya
Collins/Spellman/Doumbouya
Cousins/Len/Bol

Very deep, balanced and athletic team, call me crazy but we could be top4 on the east. I also thought we had a chance to win 30 games this year....

I like the idea, but Cousins has other plans. What about the same plan but sign Kanter. He's not the best, especially on Dn but he is a good scorer and rebounder and TS might be able to bring him in on a relatively good deal a la Len.

Kanter and Collins front court... :o . Nope. Kanter doesn't even pretend to play defense.

Been watching a little more Brandon Clarke, I like him as a defensive fit next to Collins. Collins is a talent but he's a tricky dude to build around

I think Jaxson Hayes will be best case for Mavs pick

Cam with the Hawks pick
Draft extremely well
Trade for Iggy
Sign Al

That's pretty much it.

Clarke is a PF, I don’t want Collins at C unless is to get Zion.

Still think best players and also best fits are Reddish and Bol, if they are nit available I think Hunter and Hayes could work well too

1. Get Cam with the Hawks pick.

2. Hayes, Hunter, Doumbouya or Hachimura (if he's there) with the Mavs pick

3. Don't rush free agency. Cousins, Durant, or Leonard would be excellent but they're obviously not coming here. Therefore, Schlenk should just look to add cheap quality free agents. Guys like Seth Curry, Rodney Hood, Alec Burks, etc. They fit a need and should be available for a good price.

What kind of money is Cousins getting offered here? I think if he gets his ring for taking a pay cut with the Warriors this season, he will go to the highest bidder this off-season.

If Cousins wants a one year deal that would be interesting, otherwise why overpay when we can have Max space in 2020, you know when AD is a FA
