Give me your hottest NBA Hot Takes Ever

Post#1 » by ChrisKreager » Fri Mar 1, 2019 9:24 am

I’ll start with mine.

I actually did not want the 1996 Bulls to reach 70 wins and was rooting against them so the 1972 Laker record would still stand.

That's not actually a hot take, or even a take, though?

To contribute, all time hot takes might look something like:

Or

My hottest take that comes to mind was that Andrew Wiggins was bound to improve and would be worth his rookie max he got.

Hasheem Thabeet will be a DPOY candidate for years to come.

Anthony Bennett will be a top 20 player in the league with his athleticism.

Bruno is the Brazilian KD

When I was young and new to the league I thought Hedo Turkoglu was going to bring Toronto a championship when they signed him.

- Andrea "Il Mago" Bargnani was going to be a top 10 player in the league.
- After 1 preseason game I declared Anthony Bennett's turn around in the mid post "legit" and "Sheed like".
- rookie Klay Thompson's face was too stupid looking to be a star in the NBA

Small ball was going to take the league by storm after the 1996-97 Suns with Kidd, KJ, and Chapman went to the playoffs after starting 0-13.

- I thought that Wiggins floor was going to be rich man Derozan.
- Rubio will end up the best player of 09 draft.

Not mine, but one of the most infamous topic from 10 years ago was "Is Brandon Jennings floor Derrick Rose ?"

I thought Charlie Villanueva was going to be a top PF in the league after his rookie season, and end up having a better career than Chris Bosh

In 2003, with his national championship with Syracuse as a freshman, i thought Melo would end up with a better NBA career than Lebron.
