Such a different team with Embiid. Even though he is an MVP candidate the Sixers will still be probably no better than a 4 seed with him and perhaps a 6 seed without him.
I watched some of that Toronto game, the Raptors just toyed with the Celtics.
I would have loved to have seen Jeremy Lin on this team but Elton did a really poor job getting someone/anyone who can contribute off the bench. Ennis and Simmons are useless and Scott is one step above useless.

Probably meant 6th seed if embiid not on team altogether from day 1 of the season.

at this point im prepared for an announcement on march 6th, the day after season ticket renewals are due, to tell us embiid is hurt. This front office will string us along as much as they can just for a buck

We all had a feeling he was gonna to be out Saturday Generational talent. Just a guy that big and mobile. Can’t take the pounding for 80 games a season. We can only hope he makes it 65 plus games and relatively healthy for the playoff run.

This is a possibility, remember they let him play in national TV game with a torn meniscus, kind of similar to playing in All Star game for no reason.
