Was that Fultz last night watching the Magic win?

Don't get why they just don't relise that he won't return this year. It's March 1st, 41 days away from end of regular season, 43 days away from first playoff game

I understood the subtext implied. I’ve read the other posts where you’ve tried to downplay our wins because they were short their stars. I’m just reminding you that they were a championship team without Durant.

We took advantage of them resting Durant, just like the Bucks and Raptors. A wins a win. Another move toward the playoffs. Pointing it out. You have to be Pennytoshaq.

That’s not “a win is a win”, that’s a win.

Just finished watching the game. This bipolar team is making me bipolar. Lose faith after the Bulls game, gain faith after Toronto game, lose faith after Knicks game, gain faith after Warriors game. I get the feeling the next couple of months are going to challenge my mental health.

I honestly cannot begin to explain how happy it makes me to see the usual “fans” of our team get so pissed off when we win games and then scramble to disregard them

I bet. I’m sure you’ll be the first to let us all know how bad the team and management is if we don’t win the championship.

Were you just waiting to use that phrase? It doesn’t make sense in this context.

Im happy as hell to see guys like Vuc/AG finally see the fruits of their hard work. I personally can see it on their faces every time we win or hit a big bucket. Our bench hasn’t been this animated since like 2010. The team is gelling because we are winning and playing for something.

I’m happy with our guys seeing the playoffs and checking that mark off the list and moving forward for next season to do even better.

Kind of how if you came to work every day and busted your tail only to never move forward or realize any results, you’d lose your desire to keep working. These guys deserve to see some progress without being absolutely trashed for not being championship contenders.

Like I said earlier. I’m more than happy to see these guys make the playoffs post trade deadline. It doesn’t make sense not to be in at this juncture. Don’t know what I have to say to prove otherwise. Vuc deserves some kind of playoff appearance for the work he’s put in Orlando.

I want to clarify that I understand your major point about how we frankly need more talent. You’re absolutely right. I just firmly believe that just like the Rockets, Jazz, Nuggets, etc. that building on the fly works and works well. We can make the playoffs and enjoy that journey no matter how long or short while also setting ourselves up for future success. Lots of teams have done it successfully.

I feel like you’re saying that you’re happy for a playoff run, but then you choose to frame our wins as if they should have an asterisk next to them, like they don’t count, or they’re ‘lesser’. There are so many other positives to focus on and that’s what you go to. All these flavours, and you choose salty  (great line by the way. I love it!)

Yeah i don't think many can find too much fault with Vuc at least for this season, we're right now a top 10 defense WITH vuc starting....i don't know how many would believe that if you told them at the beginning of the season.

Not many if any people thought that was possible. The reality is that he was not a terrible defender in the years before. Problem was the perimeter defense and schemes we're so bad that his weaknesses got exposed much more. But he had shown himself to be a capable defender despite not being a big time athlete and shot blocker and now that the current defensive scheme is working along with additional improvements from him, being a top defense team is not implaussible.

Not that is an old GIF of his reaction to being a Sixer. Maybe last-year, I think.
