Honestly, I've grown to hate so much and so many people since you've left. I can't seem to shake the feeling of being alone, you don't know how bad you hurt me mommy. I know that's selfish but I don't like it here anymore..... I'll see you soon I promise #day68

Uhh this is a little concerning....

Not really. I looked at the last 20 number 2 picks and there were only 4 All Stars (5, now with Russell) and only 2 of those were multiple All Stars. If you have extra time go to BB Reference and go year by year on the draft going back 20 years and sort for points/minutes etc. and look at who made it and who didn't from those drafts. Lottery picks are really a crapshoot as far as central franchise players. It's not like there is one a year or even 1 every 5 years in the top 5.

Except this year there are clearly already two and who knows maybe Ayton, Bagley, and Jackson will end up being franchise players as well.

Not sure you can project a franchise player 55 games into their career. Is KAT? Close but what would you have said in his first year? Look back after 5 years. Some of the guys in those drafts peaked very early. That said, they do tend to come in bunches. Time will tell with this crop.

Well it depends on what your barometer is for a franchise player I suppose.

That it does. It's more than stats. There's a leadership quality and a right place right time aspect to it as well. Just because they are a max player doesn't necessarily mean central player on a really good team to me. There are a lot of stat hounds that don't really effect their teams chances much.

Did we actually bring Mitchell Robinson in for a predraft workout? I recall every mock draft slotting him here.

Given our misfortunes and his turnaround lately, I'm just... Curious.

We had a nightmare of an offseason + trade deadline sans LeBron.

Somewhat OT, but where’s that IG post of Bron and Magic in the club trying to talk to every FA(spoof of what’s up scene from “Night at the Roxbury)?

In this season of great discontent and disappointment, at least the Celtics are imploding.

I kinda like Donovan Mitchell so I say Utah and maybe Raps or Bucks from the East because of Kawhi and Giannis.

I'll probably pull for the Raptors, maybe even the Bucks. Could care less how the Western Conference plays out.

Just hope that the Celtics lose in the first round, and the Clippers get swept in an embarrassing fashion just so their fans can shut up.
