Re: Gordon Hayward Thread
As I'm in the Rockies I'm a Broncos fan and not a Pats fan. Know what I see in Denver... Ellis been pissing of the Bowlen kids. Won't give em the team. Denies Mike Shanahan to come back (good for the Pats. Says Pick someone else Elway, so he picks Vance Joseph. This year he says Joseph was Elways man. Elway says ya cause said no.
This gets crazy... We Hire Fangio, Munchak, Fangios LB coach for DC etc fir the D. Sign Kyke Shanahan's whole staff. QB Coach is new OC.
Legal Battle in court for the Bowlens coming up. Elway uses connections to get Beth or Brirrany Bowlen the team. She fires Joe Ellis and John Elway gets his job. Leaves the GM position open for John Lynch and he Brings Kyle Shangan with him to be the OC in Denver. Fangio goes to DC, his staff goes back to their normal positions and Mike Shanahan gets back as Head Coach.
How does we get Lynch back from 49ers. Easy, he trades number 2 pick, Shanahan and Garoppolo to Denver for Roby, Ray( RFAs.) And Keenum. That should get him fired I think.
At least we learned one thing from Josh McDaniels, you can set your team up for success by screwing up another one. Our bad press that caused dissention the last 2 years was the Bowlen kids trying to be discredited so Ellis can try to steal ownership, tried to railroad Elway too.
Get the Shanahans back, Elway runs the show, we get a QB, draft Bosa at 2 still have 10 too. Maybe we do a fair deal like Von Miller and Keenum for 2 ,Jimmy G.
I actually believe this is possible just depends if the Bowlen kids need 1 more year or not. Everything is aligning perfectly. Then at least you'll have some competition again.

Re: Gordon Hayward Thread
Sorry Gordon no disrespect. Not to you Pat Fans either. I'm not your typical douche fan, I have nothing but respect for you. The only reason we won another Bowl is you are the team we have to beat to get there. You keep us on our toes. Best part of all this too, is now our defense has to face Mahomes, best player out there to have to learn to beat. Regular Season Cheifs with Regular Season Reid is never going beat you. Defense wins championships, need one that can stop Mahomes so here we go. Gonna be awesome when we score Garoppolo, shoulda picked us the first time. You were right to send him there instead, but we have our gm and coach getting him ready for us in SF, will be home soon.
Congrats on another bowl. You deserved them all. Not like a Bronco fan can say otherwise. Between the 2 of us, one of us always fiends an advantage to exploit, and doesnt that Sound so much better than cheating.

Re: Gordon Hayward Thread
It helped that there was no Crowder and Lebron to take him down, tag team style. Really need to see more of these games with two months left in the regular season. The ASB will help Gordie's body to recover.

The all star breaks going to Hayward wonders. Don’t think he’ll get back to all star form until next year, but a 85% - 90$ version of thatcher

I honestly think the fans getting openly fed up with his play was the kick in the ass he needed to get it going a bit.

Margaret Thatcher, the Iron Lady, if GH is 85% of 90 dollars of her we are fine...

Jackie MacMullan is coming out with an article on Gordo soon...
I think this article will shed light on Hayward's real condition and fix all the Celtics problems.

From a Butler forum today
"
Boston has a well publicized "chemistry" problem, not a coaching issue. It's so bad in Boston that a great coach can't even over come it. Selfishness in this case. And, it's so bad that it is rumored (and widely suspected) that a laid back guy like Gordon Hayward hates it there. That last statement from a person who knows Gordon's dad, so it is third hand, but it is not so far fetched it can't be believed, knowing Gordon's background and style. Ainge will have to address this in the off season, and I would wager that he will. Sometimes it just comes down to the General Managers and Athletic Directors admitting their mistakes, taking a bullet, and correcting the situation for the benefit of the organization.

Probably should spend a little effort catering to a guy you toss a max contract to though. This team should feature Gordon heavily next year regardless of who is still here or isn't. And if he's really cooked we'll know it by then but you have to at least make an attempt to recoup some value on that deal (or dump his salary if that's even possible). It's weird when people talk about starting Hayward early in the season was detrimental to the team while banishing him to rot with an awful bench mob has been far worse for him. And yeah this chemistry is ruining everyone's ability to play to their capabilities. Wasted year for so many of these guys.

Team has too many SF that all need minutes and you have to believe none of them are happy when the other guys are playing. Maybe sign melo and roll with these guys in the starting lineup.
SF Melo
SF Hayward
SF Brown
SF Tatum
SF Morris

Intriguing. A bench of Michael Beasley, Gerald Green and Rodney Hood would really take it to the next level.

Re: Gordon Hayward Thread
For a guy who has been pretty mediocre all season (except against Minnesota), it's odd how different his performances are in Celtics wins vs. losses.
In 34 wins he shot 48.7% and 41% from 3pt
In 24 losses he shot 34% and 21% from 3pt
His other stats are all very similar (other than points, 12.7 vs. 7.8) but you'd think that for a guy who is only average 10 ppg, his shooting wouldn't be the key indicator in a teams wins or losses.
I took a look at some other guys and they have some level of drop off but not as significant. Mook is pretty bad but Tatum was almost exactly the same in wins and losses. Stunningly similar even: http://www.espn.com/nba/player/splits/_/id/4065648/jayson-tatum
Smart was very similar too: http://www.espn.com/nba/player/splits/_/id/2990992/marcus-smart
Jaylen also: http://www.espn.com/nba/player/splits/_/id/3917376/jaylen-brown
It's funny -- the guys who seem to be the most inconsistent are actually the vets:
Al: http://www.espn.com/nba/player/splits/_/id/3213/al-horford
Kyrie: http://www.espn.com/nba/player/splits/_/id/6442/kyrie-irving
Mook: http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/6462/marcus-morris
Hayward: http://www.espn.com/nba/player/splits/_/id/4249/gordon-hayward
...and Terry: http://www.espn.com/nba/player/splits/_/id/3074752/terry-rozier (although for him it's more about starting vs. coming off the bench)
Maybe I'm just losing my mind, but after looking at this info it seems like it's Mook and Hayward more than anyone else in our top 8 who determines if we win or lose. And then Al, Kyrie and Terry to a lesser degree. If Mook and Hayward play well we win. If they don't we usually lose.

Nothing to see here. Players play better in wins. That's why we win.
