This isn’t true.
Jordan Travis isn’t a walkon and very well could beat out Blackmon if he gets that waiver.
Still, waiver or not he is a scholarship player.

No you are wrong, I'm not talking about Travis. He will sit this year. There is a walk on that 2 of the WR and Asante Samuel Jr were talking up on twitter over the weekend. He was a walk on last season. They were talking if Blackmon got injured, they think this kid can step in. Hold on I have to go look it up now since you think I'm wrong.

Why are you so sure he will sit a year? Other QBs have already had their transfer waivers approved. There is no reason yet to assume his can’t also.
If and when he is cleared to play immediately it will be an interesting QB battle. This is an all new system for both QBs but Travis has previous ties to Briles on the recruiting trail. That doesn’t mean much on the field but there may be some trust, comfort or even ego at work there.
It’s Blackmon and Travis right now. No other names matter ... yet.
