An easy win? We thought that about some recent games. LeBron has to be contained - not easy to do. Ingram is versatile and can be dangerous. Rondo should not be overlooked. Nuggets must not take this game for granted.

Nuggets best offense is "toss the ball to Jokic" and everyone stop being spectators - that means move and cut to the basket and run the baseline --- that means motion & movement.

Nuggets best defense is simply hustle and be aware of open men and covering for each other.

IT’s gonna try and stick it to LeBron in this one but Denver’s better overalll when the ball is moving and everyone is involved.

Agreed about Denver's ball movement but what makes you think IT has that kinda power ??

Nice to see team playing since 1st minute in 2019, not waiting 3rd quarter for that. Even better, Barton moving and taking open shots, instead of trying to playmaking instead of Joker.

Malone should be fired if your team loses

Got a bit too close for comfort but pulled away at the end....at least we ended that losing streak and put a little distance between us and HOU

Unnecessary problems at the end in the game we lead +17 on halftime, but good to see Harris in hero role. Hope he will take some confidence from this 4th quarter, and continue to fulfil our expectations from him in the rest of the season (and playoff, of course).

This game shows once again importance of advanced playing time distribution for the Nuggets. Millsap was nothing special and Jokic was scandalous passive (take just 5 shots), but both played over 35 minutes, so Lyles absence is covered on proper way, without these ridiculous 4-guards lineups.

Barton shooting today 5-11 for 3pt, and all 11 these shots are open shots, less or more. This is type of the game he needs to adopt if want to stay with Nuggets. To be focused on the movement without ball.

Maybe it was the way Melo always owned Lebron and the Cavs when Melo was in Denver, maybe it was the way that Lebron stacked teams in Miami and Cleveland but still lost more championships than he won, maybe it has been the seasons where he did not even fact a team with a winning record until the conference finals, maybe it was the way he was treated as a superstar by the refs the minute he stepped into the league, or maybe it is the way that the league changed the rules on traveling, hand checking, and freedom of movement, but I felt no excitement when Lebron passed Jordan last night. He always seemed manufactured to me, not a real deal type of guy or player. I have a hard time putting him in the top 4 players that I have watched in league history, and that does not include Wilt or Russell who my grandfather would place 1 and 2 in league history, truth is I have always felt that Duncan and KG were better as well. Lebron has gotten a lot of stats, but I have always felt that it was to the detriment of the team, and for the life of me cannot remember 1 player that he ever made better when he stepped on teh court.

Other than that Thomas must go, the plus minus between the starters and reserves was shocking last night, and he was by far the worst.

Good game from Barton and the other starters though.

That was about the ugliest win the Nuggets have had this season. It seemed like after an excellent 1st quarter, everyone decided they didn't have to hustle and could just stand outside hoisting 3s - a tendency we've seen before.

On the positive side, it seemed like there was more talking and help on the defensive side of the ball.

Barton started hot and Harris finished hot.
Jokic had 17 rebounds and Millsap had 7 ORBs - Denver dominated the boards!

Thomas: There is no excuse for a guy who gets 14 minutes to slowly trot to the defensive end while the other team is on a fastbreak! You never know what might transpire!

Barton had one of his best games in my opinion. Nice shooting and yeah, he chucked a couple of bad shots but all true shooters do that sometimes. He had one spectacular block, which shows his great athleticism - sure wish he made a more consistent defensive effort instead of just going for the spectacular.

My favorite moment in the game came when Barton got a technical for defensive 3 seconds. He'd left his man in the corner and was trying to cheat over for help defense. It wasn't laziness and I loved it! If he played like this in every game, I'd become a Barton fan. Unfortunately, I just don't believe it'll become a pattern. :(

When Barton 1st got here he was terrible off the ball on offense and defense, by the end of last season he was remarkably better at both and the stats backed it up. This year he started off reverting back to his old self and it hurt the team, but in a Malone interview with the Hastings show last week Malone was asked about Barton. It was the morning after Barton only got like 3 or 4 shots, and Malone said he told Barton he would figure out how to get him more shots and Barton said not to worry about it, he just wants to win and fit in. I know I rant and rave about the guy, but that says a lot to me about his mentality and that he is more worried about the team than himself. He just has some bad habits he has to break.

I still think it is better to bring Barton off the bench, but if he is getting comfortable playing like he did last night than I am fine with him starting.
