NXT has been on fire the past few weeks. Cole/Ricochet was really good and Dream/Gargano was awesome, even if I thought Dream went a bit overboard with the no-selling at the very end of the match. Still a solid **** match from me and must-watch if you're a fan of either guy, which I presume most people who post here probably are.

Why is Biannca Belair still saying she's "un-de-feat-ed" ?

I assume because she had Baszler beat but for the ref bump. Still seems dumb to me, but I guess that's the logic.

Terrible news about Ciampa. Gonna be interesting to see what they do with the NXT Title match at Takeover now.

Eric Bugenhagen is my new favorite wrestler. If Jack Black was a wrestler and had Rick Rude's body, you get Eric Bugenhagen.

What is Bugenhagen. Is he Adam Rose?

Anyway it sucks about Ciampa. They should do a tournament to crown a champ (and have Gargano win it).

Hoping for a Bugenhagen feud with Elias to determine WWE's true rock star.

The only year of the attitude era without Austin. Interesting. Make your case.

1) Austin returned at No Mercy in October, Big Show and the Taker were injured 1/2 year as well
2) Every PPV (except Wrestlemania) was a (near) classic event / had monumental moments. The tag team division was at the highest level as well as the main event and micard scene.

The booking was sometimes chaotic but it all made sense.

Main Event: Rock, Triple H, Austin, Undertaker, Kurt Angle
Midcard: Kane, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Rikishi,...
Tag Team: Dudley Boyz, Hardy Boyz, Edge & Christian,...

You can find many articles about the year 2000 to get more details.

I know, but he was gone most of the year and it was largely built around H and Rock.

Probably WWE in one of its best years because they have twice as many big shows and longer weekly shows. Thus, a great year for WWE means many more great events than NXT even hosts per year at this point.

But I'd put the year Gargano just had up there with just about any year from anyone else. Delivered multiple classic main events and was a part of wrestling's most compelling feud of 2018. Just a shame we aren't gonna get a proper ending to it.

Last year's Takeover cards were as good as anything I've seen in North America. The weekly show was great too. I also thought of the year 2000, but I'd love to hear a reason for putting it above 2018 NXT.

I'm skeptical. To me, he looks more like Dalton Castle than Rick Rude. But I wish luck to anyone showing that kind of energy and enthusiasm.
