Post#1 » by NuggetsWY » Thu Mar 7, 2019 2:33 pm

Qtr 1 - 3rd at home & 10th on the road
Qtr 2 - 10th at home & 19th on the road
Qtr 3 - 9th at home & 26th on the road
Qtr 4 - 20th at home & 10th on the road

Home best qtrs are 1st & 3rd
Road best qtrs are 1st & 4th

Home worst qtr is 4th by a lot
Road worst qtr is 3rd

Interesting, might be of some value to Malone, as he could adjust the rotations he's using accordingly.
Det. Frank Pembleton: You know, sometimes you're funny. Then there's now.

Problem with these numbers is the fact that they do not show a full picture because of Nuggets played on one way in 2018 (October-December) but then changed it radically in 2019 (since January). Also, our defensive efforts are very different per quarters on average. The conclusion is that there is a crazy big difference we showed on average per quarter in the offense and defense both on the road and at home, and before and after New Year (January 1st). It is almost like we played with 8 different rosters this season so far (and 8 different coaches as well). I think it is Malone who makes these changes. For example, the same team which have 2nd and 8th best net rating on the road in 2018 for 1st and 2nd quarter but 24th and 26th (7th and 5th worst) in 3rd and 4th quarters, suddenly becomes 22th and 28th (9th and 3rd worst) in 2019 for 1st and 2nd but 5th and 3rd best for 3rd and 4th!

Inconsistency can be quite puzzling and very frustrating - especially to fans!
