I doubt the Pistons will pick up the option for GRIII next year but it's nice to see he's got some game and is contributing when called upon. If he keeps it up he may earn a job somewhere next season.

Amazing game by Andre, not only statistically. He brought us back into this game by sheer will, and the bench responded. Whispering "Is Drummond growing into a leader?"

Luke side step shot off the dribble was nice.

If he can do that one every game hes a whole nother level of player. That makes him a shot creator at will.

Everybody's clicking at once. I have to bring back my 1983 Philly comparison now that Dre is back to playing to his strengths like Moses Malone... anything's possible.
Dre- Moses Malone
Blake - Dr J
Reggie/Ish/Bruce - Mo Cheeks
You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.
Weaver & Casey, govern yourselves accordingly!

Dre has really come back from the brink. Maybe he needed to adjust a lot during the last few games to fit with Blake but man, he’s been beasting. He’s really come around and playing way toward his strengths and having Blake rubbing off on him has been tremendous. I still don’t know if he can win you a chip, but he’s still a positive asset than I originally thought going into this season.

Also Blake playing more like a regular forward has been a revelation this season. Luke has been feasting these last 10 games. Averaging 15.5 a game I think off the bench? That’s Manu Ginobili like.

Taj didn't deserve an ejection for that forearm shiver to Dre's head/neck? You know you're getting older when you just can't keep up with the pace of change. I was just here yesterday and it was a Pistons forum? ;-)

He looked at him...aimed up with his elbow while looking at him on a box out. In my eyes, that’s intentional.

Exactly. If you watch the replay he clearly looks at andre, then shoves his elbow out. I dont see how it's at issue he meant to do it. Normal boxing out is watching the ball, putting your arms out and waiting for the rebound.

It's obvious as hell.

Luke’s confidence is finally at a high level. I like him as that fire power off the bench

Him and Ish are just insane right now. They changed the game yesterday. Minny had no answer for them.

No one claimed that by today’s NBA rules Taj didn’t deserve to be ejected. There was simply a lamentation about what the NBA rules regarding flagrant fouls have evolved into. It has nothing to do with keeping up with the pace of change. It’s about not just blindly accepting that every change is good.

Call me “getting old” if you’d like; I’ll just counter that, given what I just explained above, some people here have the reading comprehension of a sixth grader. If I had a dollar for every childlike misinterpretation in this forum over the years that I’ve had to address with diagrams in crayon, I’d be rich.
