Randle is still a dang bull in a china shop and can pretty much get better and better at whatever he is doing. So he is potential in the sense that he is going to become a very good version of his self. Gordon is just adding more tools to his swiss army knife and will continue to sharpen them all.
People will look at AG's numbers and say he's stagnated. If you're watching him, you can clearly see he is involving into an all around player. He's doesn't seem concerned about his stats and seems fine with Vuc operating as our primary option, which is what is best for the team at the moment.

Yes, and even in one interview he talked about the importance of playing through Vooch. He has probably said it a few times.

He's not competing with Evan and Vooch for alpha dog status anymore. There was no pecking order under Vogel, but it's clear that Vooch is the guy under Clifford.

Let's just keep it 100, last year AG was playing for stats and aiming for a max contract.

AG gushed over Clifford in the offseason and seems like the guy who will do whatever is best for the team.

Besides the erratic shooting, AG has improved his game in all aspects.

I came to give credit to Isaac for a great game and growth this season. I thought very little of him as a basketball player much of this season even. He is becoming a little jack of all trades with a long reach. His corner 3 stroke is looking nice and he is getting it off quicker and more confidently. I am becoming a fan!

Issac has had a sensational 2019. He’s filling the stat sheet and getting his points in now. Double figures most games this year I believe. He’s in that game is slowing down stage. He makes little effort plays, gets after it on D and does everything. I’m loving the evolving of his game. Next year should be a real coming out party for him. He’s becoming a young life vein for the team.
You look confused...let me fill you in.

Can you imagine how he’d look if the league actually allowed defense? He’s even more incredible when you realize he’s being crippled by rules purposefully crafted to favor offense.

So I want to revisit this with a hindsight powered question.

I was 50/50 and perfectly happy with either Isaac or DSjr from that pick. We got one. I was happy. But clearly we still needed a PG.

Given what we now know ... EVERYTHING from the rumors of a DSjr trade involving anything from or own 2019 pick to AG to Bamba to Isaac versus what DSjr was eventually traded for and what he has done so far in New York as well as what Orlando eventually gave up for Fultz ...

Are we happy with the decision to keep BIG in place for the moment to buy low on Fultz versus breaking it up for DSjr?

Your thought can change if and when we see Fultz play but what are your thoughts today?

I think Fultz+JI has the potential to be way better than DSJ+Gordon but that's only if they both hit near their ceiling. DSJ+Gordon would be a serviceable duo currently (though would need more weapons to compete) and could develop into a playoff duo but not something special like Fultz+JI.

I was on board for trading JI for DSJ straight up since I think DSJ+Gordon+Vooch would make the playoffs this year (and that's what Orlando leadership wants), but I also like the long-term gamble of Fultz+JI together. What I don't understand is the trade for Fultz while still pushing for the playoffs this year without actually helping the team this year.

AK47 was a way better player than Isaac, atleast at this stage in John's development.

Here's hoping that he doesn't turn out to the the bust that he's currently on pace for.

Do you watch much basketball? I'm guessing you don't. Saying that Isaac is currently on bust pace is one of the worst takes ive seen on here in a long time. && that is really saying something.

I wasn't a fan of the pick and have had my issues with Isaac as a player, but even this take is too sizzlingly bad for me find merit in.

Isaac's February and March are the only things that give me some hope about this team's future. My biggest issue with Isaac was his lackluster and ghost-like offense at times, but his shooting splits since Feb. 1 have been 49/43/78 with 61.5% TS. If there's any consistency in that, the Magic will have a real player on their team.

On top of all of that, he's been our healthiest player this season which is HUGE with all things considered.

There are a lot of posters who see players as superstars or bust, like it’s black and white and there’s no spectrum in between.

Those posters are idiots.

He's the last offensive option in a starting lineup contained of vets, so until the deck is shuffled, you're gonna see the occasional freeze out
