If AAC conference tournament started today, UCF would be the 3 seed and face the winner of Wichita St vs East Carolina which is great because UCF avoids Memphis in the 1st game because Memphis will have home games through the conference tournament.

I don't think Temple deserves an at large bid if they lose on their homecourt to UCF. If UCF wins at Temple, IMO Temple needs to win their conference tournament. Just beating Houston isn't enough for Temple.

UCF ranked 25th in the AP. Essentially tied for 26th in the Coaches.

Cinci is #20.

Thursday night will be the first game at CFE between two Top 25 teams. Wish I could make it (i'll be in my MBA class) to see the seniors off.

Johnny Dawkins has this team peaking at the right time. Excited for all of the seniors (especially Tacko) for one more big home game!

Ranked in both football and basketball in the same year is really something to be proud of.

Important win tonight against Cincinnati.

Beating ranked teams back-to-back.

Great crowd, physical game by both teams.

HORRIBLE officiating. The AAC has to have among the worst officiating crews in the NCAA

The officials blew calls going both ways and affected the game.

The flagrant call against Smith was BS, and gave Cinci 4 FT's and the ball. Later, the three blind refs missed a couple of contact fouls in the final minute.

Again, great win, and congrats to the basketball team.

This is going to be the first NCAA invite based on merit and not conference tourney wins.

I just got home from the UCF game vs Cincinnati. I had a great seat in section 101 row C, 3rd row away the court/ UCF bench. It was very emotional pre-game when they honored the seniors, I didn't break down and cried but it was close. I was on Jarron Cumberland the whole game yelling at him in the 1st half YOU GETTING SHUT DOWN, He did score 2 pts in the 1st half so almost shut down and he did some scoring in the 2nd half but not much. I also yelled whenever Cumberland was guarding a UCF player with the ball to TAKE HIM. Than it gets down to the last possession of the game with UCF up 3 points and Cincinnati had a good shot of tieing the game and missed. Than the crowd STORMED THE COURT. Which is so great cause I got to walk on the court and be very up close to BJ Taylor, Chad Brown and Tacko Fall and being pushed and shoved by quite a bit of people. Than the seniors went up into the student section and each made a speech to everyone in the arena. It was so much fun, That was the most fun I had since College Day was on UCF campus for the UCF football game vs Cincinnati.

When the NCAA tournament field is released, Lets fill out those brackets and pick UCF to advance all the way to the FINAL 4 ! Why not? Loyola Chicago made the final 4 last year and George Mason made the final 4 in 2006 so why not UCF? UCF has a better team than Loyola Chicago and George Mason. I actually hope UCF is put in the same bracket as DUKE. I would love for UCF to go deep and get a shot at DUKE.

I don't think Caesar Dejesus is injured so I believed he got benched. He was playing 10 to 24 minutes per game until these last 6 games where he has played a grand total of 6 minutes in the last 6 games. So it appears they got their bench down from him to just Chad Brown, Griffin and Bertz.

The victory gave the Knights two victories over Top 25 teams in a season for the first time.

The win also marked UCF's most wins in program history with 23.

Is this the first UCF win as a ranked team over another ranked team? I think yes.

Not only are the Knights firmly off the bubble, if they beat Temple and have a good showing (1-2 wins) in the conference tournament, they could be a 6 seed.

Great win last night. I was watching from my MBA class downtown, nearly jumped out of my chair when BJ put us up 4 down the stretch. The team is playing their best ball.

Aubrey had a back injury flare up last night and didn't play the last 8 minutes. Coach Dawkins said Aubrey tried to get back in, not sure why it didn't work out. Hopefully Aubrey is ok to play Temple tomorrow (though I hope they play it safe if it's questionable).

Still a lot of basketball to play between Temple and the Conference Tourney before Selection Sunday. We're in the tournament for sure. Hopefully we can keep the momentum going and have a strong showing in the tournament (or just win it!) and get our seed up to 6 or 7. Really don't want to be 8-9.

UCF now has a NET rating of #26. A win over Temple and a first round AAC win should lead to a #7 seed. Winning the AAC tourney should lead to a #6 seed. Losing out should lead to a #10 seed.

So we get a really hard fought win vs Cincy on Senior Knight and than have to play at Temple less than 48 hours later and UCF appeared tired in the Temple game and it was Temple's senior night as well. So now we get further punishment by having to play Memphis who will have a home game as long as Memphis is alive in the AAC conference tournament. Dumb a-s rule to have 1 team in a conference tournament host home games. Might as well make Memphis the #1 seed for the AAC tournament.

Yea it was a tough situation. But if you had told me we'd go 3-1 in our final four games with the loss being Temple I would've thought it unlikely. Great run to end the regular season.

Unfortunately a tough draw in the tourney. Having to play a hot Memphis team in Memphis is going to be tough. Hopefully they're tired after the first round and we come in determined after the loss to Temple.

Thank you Murray State for winning the conference tournament! I want to see JA Morant in the NCAA tournament and now it will happen. I think I'm going to pick them to win at least 1 NCAA tournament game. Will be rooting for Murray State as well.

I was wondering why Temple was getting the 3rd seed and UCF the 4th when both teams tied.

THAN I looked at the AAC tournament bracket on wikipedia and they show the tie breaker between UCF and Temple because UCF lost their 1 game to Wichita State and Temple won their 1 game against Wichita State, WHAT, How do they determine that as the tie breaker? Stupid tie breaker, Not happy with how they broke the tie breaker.

Right now I'm picking Houston and UCF to at least make sweet 16 and Temple/ Cincinnati lose in the round of 64.

Take notice of Gardner Webb they just won 2 true road games in the conference tournament on Campbell's campus than on Radford's campus. Those were not neutral site games, those were true road games. I need to see who Gardner Webb plays in the NCAA tournament but I have my eye on them depending on the matchup to possibly advance to the round of 32.

Don't care about UCF's seed, if they land in either Jacksonville or Columbia, SC expect a solid showing of UCF fans.

I was a sophomore and junior in high school in '04 and '05 the last time we got into the tourney after winning the A-Sun tourney, and I watched those Speraw teams closely.

I've waited a long time for UCF basketball to get back to the tourney. And you can believe with some hungry and now rested seniors, we've got a damn good shot of winning our first tourney game, too, no matter who we face in the first round.

My prediction...

8 seed against Iowa in Columbia, SC with Duke as the 1 seed if they win.

In a way I be excited to play Duke but that be the toughest draw for us between Duke and Gonzaga. If its Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan St or any of the other 2 seeds we got a shot.

Let's cross our fingers that Ucf plays well against VCU.

Just win one.

Yea VCU is a tough opponent in their own right. If UCF can win that'll be the school's first NCAA Tournament victory and a huge milestone in it's own right.
