So lucky that Billy Donovan forgot Markieff Morris on the bench. Dude was killing us during that comeback. add to that 6th foul on PG(thanks to Patrick Beverley flop) and Russ. OKC just shoot themselves out from the game.

Nice team effort though. Gallo&Lou&Beverley all steps up. Leaders.

got in late, caught the 2nd half on replay
what struck me most was even though they bricked a lot of FTs in the 4th [Lou 4, Trezz 2, Gallo 1], the Clippers kept their cool esp on D

what struck me in the box score:

Doc's rotation is solidifying

○Ty still gets his 5 minutes or so

○Zubac up to 23 minutes; Harrell played 25

○Shai getting minutes with the 2nd unit, which is slumping, and why Shai's plus/minus was minus-4

○all the other starters were big pluses:

Bev plus+24 [team high]
Sham plus+22 [keeps killing plus/minus: might be the spacing he provides]
Zubac plus+14
Gallo plus+13

○the bench all in the minus except Lou, who scored 40 but was only plus+3

○Temple still blecch at minus-16, next worst was minus-6--we could still use a 3 [Luc, Chandler?]

Damn, this team epitomizes heart. This is probably my favorite Clipper team ever just in terms of how much these guys actually enjoy playing with each other, no ego, just all heart and hustle!

The other night it occurred to me that we could be the new ‘Grit and Grind’ team (not that i want to recycle the Grizz’s nickname though.)

Yeah, even my boy who is a Lakers fan said whatever team that plays the Clippers in the playoffs is gonna catch hell. I don't think any team is gonna be looking forward to the slugfest the Clippers are gonna bring to any team. There's no quit with this team man and I love it.
