Helping KAT is the Gasol disappearance since going to Toronto. Who are the other Center candidates?

Obviously you didn't watch the end of the game tonight

This is the RotoWorld report. It sounds hopeful.
Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) will get further testing on Saturday night, according to coach Ryan Saunders.
Presumably, it's going to be an MRI for KAT. The good news is he was walking around after the game, and coach Saunders said that he "has not heard concern" of a serious injury. Towns has only missed a game in his NBA career because of a dangerous car crash and he said he was lucky to not be seriously hurt, so hopefully the luck continues. Until we get more news, Taj Gibson, Keita Bates-Diop, Dario Saric, Anthony Tolliver and Gorgui Dieng could become adds.

Shut him down for the season, it just sucks wolves are so far from getting zion it has been a terrible season not good enough for playoffs and not bad enough to be on conversation for a special talent like zion smh!

No. If he's fit he plays.

And if KAT feels like he's 100% fit (or at least 100% fit at this late stage of the season) he should play - but with limited minutes. No need to upset your only superstar on the team by making him sit if he could play. Not that I believe in a playoffs push but if KAT believes it and will do his best to get there, he and the rest of the team should do that.

Hoping this positive news is real and not just positive talk. He tweaked it and later it gave out on him during a plant.

No matter how positive a scan result now, a double knee event in one game is pointing at something amiss. He must be held out for a while at minimum to allow something to heal. I would highly question any claims until doctors chime in about scans and error on side of caution.

Ryan was noticeably nervous during the post game. Positive about the win of course, but very agitated and jabbering. I didn't continue watching to see if anyone asked him about Kat.

I hate to blame Ryan for this injury but I have to.If this was Thibs I'd be angrier but the reasoning would be different.I think that Ryan is too close with Towns, any other coach at this point in the season would have told Towns to sit for the rest of the game because one, he's too valuable, and two, the team needs a better pick because the team will only be worse come next season. Ryan knew damn well that Towns was chasing that money so he let his buddy play. We've seen Towns go for his rebounds but that last game he was ripping the ball from teammates hands. Unfortunately that is a horrible learning experience for both of them and us fans don't deserve this bs year after year because of incompetence.

Any player who is healthy enough to play and can make a positive impact on the team IMO has a right to play. I know you are all about tanking Neeva. In KAT's case him not being allowed to play if healthy could cost him $40 million. If KAT is healthy enough to play and the team refuses to put him in to tank and save the $40 million I think that would create a huge rift between KAT and the team. It would also send a message out to every FA in the league to stay away from the Wolves because they will screw you every chance they get.

I don't watch the Wolves that often, but every time I'm blown away by how good Towns is. It feels like the Wolves get a quality shot every offensive possession he touches the ball. If you double him he is good enough as a passer that a teammate will get an open shot and if you let him go one on one he will get a good look.

On realgm there is a lot of talk about empty stats, especially for players on non playoff teams. Towns is one of those players that could easily be accused of putting up empty stats by people who never watch him play, but in reality I feel like his numbers doesn't do him justice, he is even better by the eye test.

There is optimism about the MRI results on right knee of Minnesota All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns, league sources tell ESPN. He left victory over Washington with injury on Saturday night.

Although Woj makes it sound like the situation isn't THAT bad, years of being a Wolves fan have made me expect the worst case. I honestly don't expect to see KAT play another game for at least two weeks, or even the rest of this season.

If he avoided a torn ACL, please just wrap him in bubble wrap until next season. He shouldn't play another minute this year.

Truly I feel the same. Even if the scan report is clean, something caused him to have two knee events in one game. It points to something that needs healing. Including him hearing a pop. Do not push it for his extra 40 million. Back off for week or two at minimum.

As long as he's healthy he should be playing basketball. He is under contract to do that and also has an incentive to earn that will make him at least another 40 million dollars. You want him to lose that on your whim?
