Kevin Huerter

Post#1 » by WuriderX » Sun Mar 10, 2019 3:15 pm

He has kind of hit a wall lately but based on what we have seen so far could be a scorer instead of a spotup- shooter. Most of the time he stands on the perimeter waiting for a pass but he is more than capable of scoring on all 3 levels (perimeter, paint, mid range). Are we wasting him playing him like his Korver jr when he appears to have the capacity to be so much more.

Final games of the season should be for Huerter to take a huge leap, I would give him a big role on offense and see what can he do. I also think he can be more than a spotu-shooter

Some of it is on KH to deliver that mentality. Bembry and Baze have the green light to shhot and drive the ball, I'm sure KH does do.

Being raised on a farm. I know it takes time for a crop to grow and mature.

So many of our youth are still growing and one, V.C., is leading them toward greener pastures. That's why I am happy
that he is staying another year, hopefully with us.

Kevin will grow. I expect him to mature in the NBA over the summer. Two or three more coming this summer. Look out!

Remember, Kevin didn't have a typical off sesason because of his injury and the coaching staff and front office STILL made him a starter. He's going to be a problem. This game was so encouraging. Also, remember, Lloyd is a developmental coach, I can't wait for Lloyd to put in his off season plan to get these guys better. So exciting to be a Hawks fan right now!

And on que he plays like I suggested and drops 27 on 11 of 18 including 4 of 7 from 3. Nique said that he talked with him about being aggressive and it appears that he listened.

Kevin just needs to develop an aggressive mentality.. The talent is there without question and he will develop into a real beast in the coming years

Watch out for this guy cause he seems shy and timid, if he can overcome that then he will blossom

When Trae is pulled with five minutes left in a quarter or half, I want to see Huerter out there running the show. I think him and Trae are great fits and KH just needs to grow accustomed to being the man. Just like when Curry is pulled and I see Klay with the the 2nd unit.

Kevin is our Hurt-er and, when riled up, he is capable of putting the "Hurt" on our opponent !
