SAN ANTONIO SPURS TO AUCTION AUTOGRAPHED GAME-WORN JERSEYS
Auction Includes Player-Worn Jerseys from the March 18 Spurs vs. Warriors Game. Live Bidding Opens March 11 and Closes March 18 at Spurs.com/auction

The San Antonio Spurs and Silver & Black Give Back (SBGB) will host a jersey auction benefitting local youth that includes autographed game-worn jerseys from the Spurs vs. Warriors game on March 18. The online auction will begin March 11 at 10 a.m. CT and will run through March 18 at 10 p.m. CT. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the official nonprofit of the San Antonio Spurs, Silver & Black Give Back.

Fans of the Silver and Black can bid in the limited-time jersey auction which includes autographed jerseys from the current Spurs roster as well as a full-team signed basketball. Bids can be placed by texting “SASpurs” to 52182 or on spurs.com/auction. Bid updates will be sent via text message and will be available online.

The San Antonio Spurs and renowned San Antonio native Vincent Valdez have teamed up to design a limited-edition archival digital print in conjunction with Manu Ginobili’s jersey retirement on Thursday, March 28. Each of the 120 limited-edition prints costs $2,500 and will be signed by Ginobili and Valdez and will benefit San Antonio’s youth through Silver & Black Give Back (SBGB).

This once-in-a-lifetime sale, which pairs two South Texan legends, is in celebration of Ginobili’s contributions both on and off the court. Valdez’s original oil on paper uses his classic contemporary style mixed with contour drawing, a technique used to capture the expressive movement and form of the human figure to create a whirlwind of motion by countering the calmness of the portrait.

'Superstar Renovation' episode featuring LaMarcus Aldridge to air Sunday

LaMarcus Aldridge with his former coach, Robert Allen, on the TV series "Superstar Renovation."

Spurs All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge will be featured on the second edition of "Superstar Renovation" at 4 p.m. Sunday on the CBS Television Network, JUMA Entertainment announced Monday.

"Superstar Renovation" features celebrities as they journey to their hometowns to give the gift of a home makeover to people who have played a special role in their lives.

Aldridge traveled to his hometown of Dallas to surprise his former high school basketball coach, mentor and father figure, Robert Allen, with a home renovation.

Aldridge teamed with "Superstar Renovation" contractor expert Jason Cameron to surprise Allen with a game room makeover that included a specially designed display case and entertainment to showcase a sports memorabilia collection. In addition, Allen and wife Katie had their backyard transformed into an area for relaxing and entertaining
