In terms of pure talent, Kobe is the 3rd best SG of his era behind TMac and Manu.

2016 Spurs and 2016 Thunder would have beaten the 2016 Cavs.

2015 Spurs would have repeated if Tiago Splitter had been healthy

While acknowledging MJ is #1 or at least #2 with LBJ, I don't think the gap between him and the other top players (LBJ,Wilt, KAJ, Bird, etc.) is nearly as large as it's portrayed in the media and general public.

4. The 1970s were the most competitive time in NBA history.
5. KD has no chance at being top 5 all-time.
6. Pau Gasol should have been FMVP in 2010.
7. Dirk's ring in 2011, while impressive, is overrated.

Can you explain 7?

The 2011 Heat had LeBron, Wade, and Bosh but the rest of that team sucked donkey balls. The Mavs were actually the better team, even if Miami had the two best players.

Kobe’s talent was never the issue. On pure talent, he should have been a Top 10 player of all-time. It was his selfishness, terrible leadership, and consistent choking on the biggest stage that keep him behind contemporaries like CP3, Wade, and Dirk for me.

Now that, sir, is a hot take.

combined with his passing and scoring efficiency and defense versatility LeBron at his best is clearly over Jordan

Shaq is the 2nd best player of all time

Stephen Curry is the most terrifying game breaking scorer ive seen, he needs to shoot MUCH MORE

David Robinson is a better player than Duncan

The New Jersey Nets would have won the 2002 NBA Finals had they drawn Sacramento.

Lebron should retire now rather then continue to tarnish his legacy on a bad Lakers team

Butler is not a max player

Lakers would have been better off keeping Deng and having DLO and Randle then Lebron both now in the future

Okafor career was derailed by a knee injury. He had the potential to be at top ten center after his rookie year

Karl-Anthony Towns is the most overrated player in the NBA (doesn't play defense stat stuffs against poor matchups)

Healthy 2009 Rockets would beat the Lakers.

Tyrus Thomas will have a far better career than Lamarcus Aldridge. Great trade!
(After the 2013 playoffs) Marquis Teague is the backup pg the Bulls needed!

It's not all Bulls stuff.

The 2013 Lakers will be the first 8 seed to win the NBA Finals.
The 2001 Clippers will win the NBA Finals within the next three years.
There is no way the 2012 Thunder lose to Miami. Their talent is too great.

I remember saying something like "KD (during his rookie year) is good, but he's overrated. Any guy can put up those numbers if he's on a bad team and shoots that much."

I cringe a little whenever I think about it. I got blasted for that. Not sure why I even said it, because I was really impressed with him coming out of college.

They really should have won that series honestly. It was a WOAT coaching performance by Scott Brooks having a 22-year old James Harden guard LeBron instead of KD and playing a horrendously bad Kendrick Perkins 23 MPG. The Thunder were -25 with Perkins on the floor and +5 with him on the bench and everyone knew at the time that he was awful. Crazy to think what the narrative damage would be to LeBron’s legacy if he was 0-3 against KD and 2-7 in the Finals.

MJ wouldn't start in today's nba due to lack of 3 pt shot.

Kobe isn't top 10 like most people think. If he didn't have the 5 rings he would be ranked slightly above guys like Pierce and Dirk.

Drose was never the player people made him out to be. Great player, but I thought the Westbrook debate was a joke then, and obviously isn't even talked about now. If he stayed healthy he would have had a Kevin Johnson type of career.

Reggie Miller is the most over rated player of all time

Okc Thunder is actually a fantastic name and their color scheme is nice. People hated this when it was chosen, but I liked it. KD'S first couple of shoes were fire too with those colors on black

Tim Duncan should be called a C not a PF. Was called a PF the first few years because of Robinson but really he was a C most of his career.
