Good question. I've never heard of him being an **** behind the scenes but I guess maybe.

Could just be that teams simply don't value ILBs so when they need extra space those are the guys they cut.

Our new inside LB coach was his position coach in Washington and we did obviously just sign his teammate yesterday too. Combine that with having a pretty big deficiency at ILB (outside of Martinez) and he makes all of the sense in the world.

I think that Golden Tate should be at the top of our wish list right now. I think that Tate and Breeland should be our top targets with our remaining money. I liked Ingram, and thought he would be a strong compliment to Aaron Jones, but with him off of the table, I'd rather avoid the other FA RBs.

On Tennessee he had impressive coverage stats. I don't think he was used much on obvious coverage downs in Washington or Buffalo.

I went to another forum to see what Redskin fans thought of him and they seemed to be just fine with cutting him...everything with this dude is weird if you start from the premise, teams like good players, fans like good players, good players are good to keep. Yet Zach Brown continues to find himself unemployed. What gives

getting Matthews back as an ILB would be huge. Wilkerson and potentially Breeland would be an A+ free agency period for me.
