Beckham trade

Post#1 » by Celtsfan1980 » Sun Mar 17, 2019 3:09 pm

Odell's injuries the last two years are worrisome.
After getting Hunt it would have been very difficult to keep all players happy. After adding Beckham it will be impossible.
Keeping Hunt long-term becomes more difficult given that we have less cap space after the Beckham trade.
A great quarterback and defense wins Championships. It becomes more difficult to build a great defense with this trade.
The one positive:many quarterbacks put up better numbers given a true number 1 wide receiver. One positive and several negatives.
Am I the only one who would not have done this trade?

I thought that whole Jerry Rice thing worked out okay.

With the playoffs looking very unlikely, I'm standing by my comment. Trading Garrett or Beckham at this point makes sense. I wouldn't trade both though.
