I mean it’s great when his shot is falling but he doesn’t seem to get that when it’s not you need to STOP SHOOTING and get to the cup and the FT line.

It's also showing that without those Buddy heroics working out the Kings are not very good. One thing is he's always making an impact somewhere else so that's a positive.

His shot has been way off. His form looks different. Im a bit worried

The emphasis has changed. Since the break Buddy's game, and the Kings as a whole has transformed into being more about getting to the line. He's less catch and shoot and more drive oriented. I think the change is hurting more than helping.

What do we play for now, or watch for now?

Are we down to seeing Giles develop and hope Marvin comes back soon?

I'm so used to looking forward to the lotto.

Bagley probable to play tonight be Boston. His two injuries probably cost us the playoffs which shows how important he’s become. Would love to see a Giles/Bagley/Barnes/Buddy/Fox starting lineup a few times down stretch to see what that squad could do.

I noticed in the news feed that Eric Moreland got a 10day with Tor. I hope he sticks with them. They need bench bigs and I always liked his game.

If the Cavs make Kevin Love available would you guys want him and what would you be willing to give up for him? I think his shooting/passing/rebounding is a perfect fit. There's the injury concerns tho.

I don't think I'd be interested. Love will be 31 next season, has been injury prone and is on a 120M/4 contract. Cavs would probably want a prospect and 1st as the foundation of a trade. Better off letting the core develop and keeping future picks.

Yeah, I’d have to pass. Injury concerns and contract are to much for me. I’m content building around Bagley and Giles as bigs and try and add a stop gap center until Giles is ready for full time work and a energy big.

With the way Giles has been playing I question whether we even need to sign a center. I'd almost rather bring WCS back as a backup. Bogi/WCS pick and roll is a pretty decent second unit offense. Giles and Bagley have amazing chemistry.

Do not retain WCS.

Let’s move on.

Kevin Love's on-court skills would be great: great rebounder, passer, 3pt shooter. I think he'd be great paired with Bagley as a front-court duo. Fox, Buddy, Barnes, Love, Bagley would give the team a lot of floor spacers.

Kevin Love's contract and injury history are quite bad. I'd pass and pursue other options.

The Kings will be the last Western Conference team eliminated from playoff contention. Progress.

I am not at all interested in Kevin Love. Too expensive. Too needing to be “the guy” without a LeBron there to check him. WAY to often injured and he’s getting older.

Let Willie walk. Or get a good deal in a S & T. He will be wanting way to much money and I would love to see us sign Richaun Holmes - who can do everything Willie can but has that big and nasty and tough that Willie lacks - as Harry’s b/u for a reasonable deal.
They are really needing a big combo guard that can hit shots consistently and also lock down in guys like Russell when they start that kind of run like he had the other night.

I also - if we pick up a guy like that - would not be adverse to packaging Bogie for a draft pick or a good young 2/3/4 guy who is at least 6’9”. We are undersized against the sweet playoff caliber teams and it shows most with Bogie. Either that or commit to using him as a big b/u point and stop asking him to guard small forwards and faster shooting guards.

No way, not yet.
Let him get some rest this off season and see what he does next year. I’m actually not sure if he has international commitments, but I hope not.
With his knee and overall workload in the last 2 years I think he’s gassed a bit.
Not trying to make excuses for him, because there are certain things that he should have made strides in anyway, but no knee jerk reactions on him.
He will come back in 19/20 a much better player.

He lost his mojo then started forcing it. Now he lost his confidence. He was our best player last year so I have hope for him.

All of this... for whatever reason, he felt that he needed to be the focal point of the offense. He wasn't able to transition to being "not the best player" on the team. And then the confidence went... it has been ugly.

I think there are three reasonable explanations, the knee, he is probably just gassed, and he clearly played out of position.

Hoping he takes a jump next season - I think if he did take a jump this season, we would be in the playoffs.

Continued growth I say. How well they can take on the roll of spoiler against playoff teams seeking position. Especially within the Western Conference since these are the teams we'll need to beat next year to realize the playoffs.

If the choice is between resigning Willie or Kosta, I take Kosta. Willie is way more athletic, but Kosta is a more intelligent basketball player and at least you know what you've got with him night in and out.

Willie has been too Jekyll and "Hide". And on a contract year no less. I would hate to see the player he is on a year where it doesn't matter as much to him.

I'd be open to bringing WCS back if the price is right. He's still a good fit on this team. Should just let Kosta walk. I don't think he can play significant minutes with his offense.

At this point the only role I see for Willie is one coming off the bench. But i dont see how Mr. $100 Million would settle for that.

Willie is gone.
